Matthew breathed a sigh of relief when he woke up from his slumber. Slowly he opened his eyes, muttering softly. "Finally, the monster left."
"I'm still here," said the voice inside Matthew's head.
"Leave me alone," said Matthew. He then turned to the side of the bed.
Matthew's brow furrowed when he saw the brunette woman sleeping next to him. "So this is what you mean by having fun? I feel like I just had an affair."
"Shouldn't I have fun? Cheating? Are you kidding? You don't think about Lily being with Ryan in London?"
Matthew swallowed. He then walked to his bathroom. Staring at his reflection in the mirror, Matthew started talking to himself again. "They're just friends."
Matthew's reflection in the mirror seemed to speak to him. "Why would she hide Ryan's arrival if they're just friends? You don't have to be so naive, Matt."
