Lily straightened up while massaging her neck after hours of staring at her computer screen, checking the bat DNA samples she had in her laboratory. She collected several types of bat DNA samples with the help of biologists she knew. Lily wanted to compare the bat DNA sample with the bat DNA sample she had received from her father.
Lily saved the information about the DNA sample her father gave her in her private email draft. And now, she could use that information for comparison. Initially, she intended to send information about the sample to her friend, but for some reason, she didn't send the lead and ended up only saving it in her draft email.
Two computer screens on Lily's desk displayed information from four different types of bats. The four bats are Hoary, Lesser Long-Nosed, Barbastelle, and Noctule. The first two bats are bats often found in the Americas, while the other two are from the British mainland.
