Chapter 51 - Enlightenment During Class

'Then again, it was because of the decline of magic and martial arts that the world can experience peace…I don't know whether my reincarnation is a good thing or a bad thing if we were to look at the bigger picture. After all, I was once known as the Harbinger of Death and Destruction…' The boy thought to himself.

But following that, Blake decided to not give it any thought anymore.

Since it was his teacher's will to pluck him out of Elysium and give him another chance at life, he'll take it.

Fuck whether he's supposed to take a new lease at life or not, a fire has been lit in his soul as Blake decided to walk down the same path his old self had walk.

'Yeah, you know what? Screw anything and everything, this is my life, my rules. Why should I care about anything that'll bring doubt to myself? Yeah, yeah…I've decided that I don't need to know the reason for my reincarnation. To stop a catastrophe? Bullshit, no one is as catastrophic as me! To live a peaceful and quiet life? Fuck off, I'll die of boredom if that's the case!'

Alas, in the midst of his enlightenment, Blake's Magic Ancestor realm aura had unknowingly leaked out, causing those within his class to faint from pure fear.

Even his class teacher who was just a Martial Sergeant laid on his stomach due to being unable to withstand Blake's spiritual pressure.

He was merely holding on thanks to Zack and Amelia's help.

The moment they saw the life in Blake's eyes disappear, they quickly released their own auras in hopes to alleviate their friend's heavy pressure on their classmates.

But to no avail, they could only prevent their class teacher from being knocked out. Everyone else fainted almost immediately.

"Blake…Blake! Snap out of it!" With the help of Amelia, Zack used his remaining strength and cried out to his classmate.

Alas, Zack's words couldn't reach Blake as they collapsed under his spiritual pressure without a sound, leaving their classmate lost in his thoughts till the next morning.

When Blake woke up the next day, he was shocked as he felt an abundance of magic power course through his body like a tidal wave.

"Magic Ancestor realm…2nd stage. I've broken through with just a thought. Nice." He smiled.

When his senses returned to normal later, Blake was in disbelief.

His entire class, including his class teacher, had been knocked out!

"This…? What happened?" He asked with a shocked face. To him, only a few hours had passed since he entered a state of enlightenment.

There should be no way someone or something was able to bypass his senses and knock everyone out before leaving without a trace.

What stumped him even more was the fact that Zack and Amelia were knocked out so close together that Blake suspected that a battle had erupted within his own classroom while he was unaware.

'But who would dare do such a thing?' Chin in hand, Blake furrowed his brows and thought to himself.

Just then, a thought flashed past him.

"Mystic Medicine Hall…Did they do this? That's not entirely impossible. I did kill their hall leader a few weeks back so it's possible they've come to take revenge for him. But then, if they were able to hide under my senses, why didn't they kill me? I'm sure they had the capability to end me, strange."

The more Blake thought about it, the more curious he became. He wondered whether Mystic Medicine Hall had been hiding their strength since the death of their founder, Emperor Vigor 500 years ago.

But if they were hiding their strength for 500 years, their hall leader named Habu wouldn't have been weak enough to die by Blake's hands.

'Odd, really odd…' In the end, Blake gave up trying to understand his perpetrators. He just had to remember to take revenge on them in the near future…or so he thought.

The first few people to wake up after getting knocked out by Blake's spiritual pressure was Zack Scarletheart and Amelia Lanlong.

Blake felt relieved to see his friends open their eyes. But when they told him the reason for the whole class passing out, Blake was flabbergasted.

"I was the reason you guys were knocked out?! How?!"

"As you fell into trance, your insanely powerful aura leaked out. The weaker students passed out almost immediately, while the stronger students like me and Amelia tried to resist. Alas, it didn't take long before we were knocked out as well." Zack scratched his cheek as he explained himself.

"I see…And here I thought Mystic Medicine Hall had come to enact revenge against me."

"Hahaha, surely you jest. Hall Leader Habu was a Magic King and was Mystic Medicine Hall's strongest character. If they knew you suppressed their hall leader without lifting a finger, I'm sure they would be smart enough to steer clear of your way." Amelia added.

"Never say never, Amelia. The cultivation world is one full of surprises. If Mystic Medicine Hall is really as cowardly as you said, their pride as a 500 year old organization would disappear within days." [Blake]

Just as he said this, the windows behind Blake shattered before several small black orbs followed in.

A moment later, smoke started seeping out of the black orbs and soon filled the entire classroom.

"Shit, I was just joking. I didn't think Mystic Medicine Hall would be this daring!" Shocked, Blake shouted in disbelief.

With a wave of his hand, Blake covered everybody in a thin magical barrier to protect them from the smoke.

Following that, he waved his hand again. This time however, the smoke that filled the classroom was cut into half before the smoke disappeared altogether.

By the time Zack and Amelia had come to their senses, Blake had already flown out the window to chase after his perpetrators.

A minute later, Blake caught up to his perpetrators that had already left the Swordfish Kingdom's borders.

Without a second thought, he landed in front of two skinny looking cultivators wearing the famous Mystic Medicine Hall uniforms.

One cultivator held smoke bombs in his hands while the other wielded a sword. The two cultivators quickly became vigilant when they realized who had appeared before them.

But before either of them could make a move, the two cultivators felt as if mountains were weighing down on their shoulders before they were forced to their knees.

"This?!"

"Impossible! I've never knelt before anyone in my life–"

It was then did Blake increase the strength of his spiritual pressure again, forcing the two cultivators to lie flat on their stomachs on wet soil.

Their clean uniforms became stained with mud.

"So, how does it feel to lay on your stomach before me? I'm sure it doesn't feel good, right?" Blake asked as he revealed a sinister smile.
