Look it doesn't matter right now because we're not going to be here and instead of wanting to see Mason's wolf, perhaps it's time that you consider giving Nicholas a call? Don't you think?.

I focus my attention back on Mason, who happens to be standing way to close to me.
he wraps his arm around my waist and yanks me to him, he dips his down and is about to kiss me.
Before his lips could touch mine, a knock emerges, saving me from kissing this idiot.

It's me, Jeremy, the beta responded.

I nodded and observed as he left the room.
I sigh, that was close, I mumbled and walked into the bathroom.
MASON'S POV
What is it, Jeremy? I questioned sounding frustrated. he just ruined the moment when I was just about to kiss Mia, maybe if he didn't interrupt things could've gotten a little further.
Sorry to bother you alpha but I thought perhaps you should come down to the dungeons with me, one of the patrollers had cought a rogue wolf roaming near the pack house.
How did the rogue manage to get so close? And where the hell was the guards? Weren't they supposed to be stationed around the pack house?

Jeremy shrugs, I have no idea.
Fine, I'll ask her about it anyway let's go to the dungeons I need to find out about this rogue.
As I enter the dungeon, I witness three of my guards busy flirting with the rogue who happens to be a young woman.
I noticed her scent doesn't have that horrible pungent smell and to me she doesn't appear to look like a rogue but what was she doing in my territory?
I glare at my guards and relieve them from their duty. I'll have to deal with them tomorrow, they don't seem to be taking my orders seriously.
I stare at the woman in front of me, I won't lie she looks fairly attractive and young.
"So tell me what we're you doing in my territory?" And which pack are you from? cause to me you don't appear to be a rogue.
I'm from the sliver moon pack, I had to run away because I was forced to be mated to a man that was older than me. My alpha had sent his warriors after me, to capture me, so I had no choice but to sneak into your pack until they got off my back and left, the young woman spoke as she stared at the ground.
What do you think we should do with her alpha? Jeremy inquired in the mindlink.
I sigh. She's harmless and doesn't have anywhere else to go, I suggest we keep her here in our pack.

Of course, she would and Mia requires an assistant and this woman here, would be the perfect candidate for that position.
Jeremy nods, alright then, do you want me to take her up to the pack house?
No, it's fine, you may leave Jeremy.
Goodnight alpha, I nod.
Once Jeremy left, I untied the rope on the girl's hands.
"You're going to let me go, right?"
I'm afraid not, you're going to stay here, in this pack from now on.
But I don't want to, she refused.

She gulped, no please don't, I'll do as you say but please I beg of you please don't inform my alpha about my whereabouts, if he finds me here he will definitely kill me.

MIA'S POV
I was just about to doze off and then Mason stepped in as soon as he entered he changed and got into bed without saying a word which was weird.
I wonder what happened? And where did he go with Jeremy?
The next morning I got up before Mason did so I could head to the office and contemplate on getting his bratty sister out of the way.
As soon as I stepped into my office the phone began to ring causing me to jump in fright.
I held onto my chest and took a deep breath and waited for my racing heart to calm down a little. Who would call me this early?, I wondered.
Before Mason or anyone else wakes up I'd better answer that call, who knows it could be important.
"Did you miss me mate?", a familiar voice spoke on the another side.
Nicholas, I sighed and plopped down on the chair.
It's been quite long since I've heard your angelic voice. I've missed you Mia and I can't seem to stop thinking about you.
You know I could get into trouble speaking to you, right?
For all I know Mason probably has all the phones tapped, he could be hearing our conversation right this moment.
