I was just about to leave my office when Mason opened the door and barged in.

"Nothing", he answered shaking his head. I just came by to see how you're doing, if you're coping with your Luna duties.

I strode over to my desk and picked up a stack of documents, I hand them over to Mason.

MASON'S POV
Mia and I are going out tonight, she seems to be getting quite closer to me than ever before.
She does seem much more happier. I'm amazed she's taking her duty as Luna seriously.
I'm glad I came to my senses and finally accepted her as my mate.
When she had mentioned Katherine I recalled her dying from my hands. Mia can not know about this, if she does she will definitely leave and I can't allow for that to happen. Whatever I did in the past, stays in the past, it cannot be spoken of.
The girl isn't stupid Mason, she would somehow discover your dark past and the cruel things you've done to her loved ones, my wolf remarked.
I ignore him, closing the link and continue striding towards my office.
My wolf can sometimes be infuriatingly annoying however what he said, worries me a little, I can't let Mia know the truth, she will hate me for the rest of her life.
A knock on the door pulls me away from my thoughts, come in Jeremy, I yell.
The door opens, Jeremy steps in looking rather pankiced.
