Scarlett felt slightly guilty about leading the fight right to her friends. But seeing as the Black Moon rebels had kidnapped her and Rowan brought along a decent number of omega soldiers, she supposed the odds could’ve been worse.
The group of three chasing her had quickly turned into a group of eight, then sixteen, until they were almost even in numbers.
Now, everyone was fighting. Claws and blades flew as shouts and snarls filled the air. It was a battle, and blood was starting to color the ground.

They were a lot more vicious with Rowan and the soldiers than they’d been with her, but they seemed to hate anyone associated with the capital to the point it was almost a blind hatred.
Urgh, she really hoped her hatred of the crown never twisted her like that.
