He hid behind the other rock and he swerved over at Shoredale who looked upset, even though he just achieved that incredible feat, his brother was stronger and he swiped the Aqua-Sapphire from him.
"Let go!" He gripped it and Shoredale slapped him off and screamed. "Help, help, he tried to steal the jewel!"
"You lowlife!" He punched him and they struggled in the water, the jewel dropped as he shoved it off his hand and swam over.
Shoredale gripped his foot and hit him against the rocks before the water guards arrived gripping his arms.
"I'm certain that the land-livers recruited him, woe is me for having such as a brother"
"I am not your kin," He said through clenched teeth.
There was some bad blood running between the two and ever since the evolution, there wasn't a day, Shoredale didn't hear about him, if Ogsydane were a ruler, he would be even more of a legend than Shoredale planned to be.
The third one retrieved the gem
"Take him to the king's court" Shoredale ordered, he would make sure he relived the embarrassment in father's presence.
He glanced at his scruff marks and hissed closing his eyes and reopening them tossing with a sharp coral, tossing it away. Swimming past them to the castle.
Ogsydale struggled and a guard covered his mouth shoving him into the hall, the lights from outside outlined the waves on the wall, they pushed a door open to screw-like columns with aquatic plants climbing around them with exotic flower-like plants.
By the rear, there were rocks where the servants collected krill and other plants sprouting, those were best reserved for making food or medicine.
The walls were a mesh of watercolours below and it deviated from warm colours to cold ones, the rest of it was covered by vines with flowers swaying and presenting itself to be drapes, two water guards with helmets covering their eyes, armor with magenta tails floated by each side brushed them open.
He swallowed as they dragged him on to the throne where the sea king Arroserion sat glumly.
Arroserion, a white king with short white hair and a gold wreath around his head, he had gleaming opalescent eyes and a long crooked nose, his beard was long enough to tuck into his belt and his tail was glittering like diamonds.
Arroserion was not expecting anything good from Ogsydane whether he did something foolish or not but he crossed the line when Shoredale fluttered in dressed in seaweed and sniffed with glassy eyes dismissing the healer who tried to dress him.
He pushed up "My son! What happened to you?"
He groaned hysterically and a guard caught himself rolling his eyes and stopped when he showed the marks from being hit against the rock.
"Why father, Ogsy is going out of control! I tried to warn him but he's connived with those_those surface people to destroy us!"
He cast a glassy eye at Ogsydane who groaned through his mask.
"Is this true?" He demanded and Shoredale drew his attention.
"Look at me, how could it not be true?!"
His father knew Shoredale was superior physically and by birth but he didn't expect such from the weakest link in the family. He was both impressed and afraid.
His eyes lowered when the third returned the Aqua-Sapphire gem, he could see the glow beneath it and wielded the gem.
For ten years, there were few things to be celebrated about and nothing more upflifting, the gem was finally returned to its rightful place. He set it over the throne.
Ogsydane felt his scores declining and his hands clenched.
"You have no evidence that you did not steal it. No one has the nerve to face those land-livers except Equizerox and as for you" He faced Shoredale whose smile dropped and he avoided eye contact.
"You will suffer punishment for going up to the surface"
"I deserve such, I won't do it anymore" He feigned mortification at its finest.
Ogsydane stirred and bit down on fabric waving it off.
"I found it in the wreckage, just ask him" He pointed at Equizerox.
Shoredale looked frenetic "He came to us asking about the treasure surely it was a hint to his schemes, I bid you, for my sake and the sake of your reputation...to put him down for food_I mean for good"
Arroserion passed Ogsydane a questioning look and glanced at his beckoning first born, Shoredale_who was desperate to be rid of him. "I will preserve you, Ogsydane, for judgement, not because you're my son"
Ogsydane huffed and Shoredale stiffened. Crap.
[ Get the treasure ]
I'm kind of in the middle of a trial here_ He thought back while they took him to a dungeon. His wrists twisted and his eyes dilated at the dart.
To escape or not to escape?

(Bones) Charles Montagne--Fourth runner up
[ His black hair usually falls over his dark brown eye, he has an oblong face, a big nose_the only feature he likes_ and he has a piercing on his eyebrow and chin. He usually assumes a bleak look, he is skinny and tall. ]
His lashes stirred at the drop of snow, he gasped and reeled upright in the blurry blizzard, amping up to see the bed of snow filling up again and again, he looked at his splinted hand and closed it. Am I in hell?
[ No Yupik, you are in Glazier ] the NPC said and he realized that he never got to show off his until now.
It was a female, her face was as radiant as the sun but orange and warm, she presented a friendly, set face with feminine red eyes and her hair blazed.
[ I am Vermelha, the flame of Voltagna, here to guide you at your darkest ]
"I always knew Glazier revealed the depths of my soul but I hate Yupik" He said with spite.
He could feel the ice crystals settle on his bald head, a red mark of a dagger on his left eye, a conspicuously big nose, full lips and a hard neck, his enemies could hardly pin him, he wore a furry white parka that used to be brown, navy blue tweeds and mukluks with a cloth upper.
His eyes scoured the artic forest and rubbed his hands shivering "Is it the cold or is it just me?" He said as he crunched down the hill, his clothes fluttered and he put his hood up, Yupik knew what was good for him when he shaved his hair off,
His scoreboard awakened and the first thing he saw was a seal, he plopped back at the polar bear that roared through it and hit the deck rolling up. Sweet Jesus.
He ran off, it was one thing to fight a bear, it was another to use common sense and get out of its way. It stood upright with its paws up and took a swipe at him, it cut his side and he slammed against a tree. It shook and the snow buried him.
The bear snuffed around and roared tossing its head around to walk away. He shuddered watching it leave.
[ You must find your way back to your people ]
He shuddered "What am I gonna here, huh?" He got up shaking "It's too cold, get me out of here"
Yupik looked down and knelt falling over, his eyes popped open at Sebastian standing in the midst of the snow and he got up holding up his mallet to slam him. It phased through him and he glitched.
"Now now Bones_oops, I mean Yupik, if you plan on giving up, then do it like a real gamer"
"Seems like the wrong time to be wearing a suit doesn't it?"
"It's flannel, the money's still guaranteed" He shrugged and he knelt and scooped a handful of snow moulding it up.
"It is as real for me as it is for you but I'm untouchable"
His eyebrows twitched
"Just go with the game, you never know what you might find, let me spoil it for you"
"Twenty five million?" He said drily. "Did you dump the others in your sick game too?"
"Call it what you may but you're still going to finish this game. You want the money, don't you?"
He stiffened thinking about his clothesline at home, his brand hadn't been able to move forward without investors and the banks thought it was too hopeless to loan such an amount.
"I can't invest on your line, I'm a gaming type but this is best I can do, fight for it" He said stiffly.
His hand tightened on his mallet "I want the money"
He grinned and dropped the snowball reversing in the snow "Attaboy" he said and vanished.
Yupik's eyes closed, he reached down to his belt pulling out a jack knife, and felt at the tree and began to carve.
