"Why can't I see your level?" asked Sara suddenly.
There was already a horse in front of us waiting while eating grass. That horse, I still remember it. His name is Blue, the horse that will accompany Sara on the adventure ahead. But I can't say that bad luck awaits Blue on the way later.
"I don't know. I can't see your level either. How do I do that?"
So it turns out that in this world the system might still be the same as in the game. I've also seen this in anime when a world uses almost the same system as a game. But I still don't know the details.
My guess is, you can access the stats window by just thinking about it. Like what I did earlier.
"You seem like you're still a rookie, huh," said Sarah. "You just think about it and what you want will appear."
I nodded in understanding. Then immediately think about it. Not long after, above Sara's head appeared the same text that I had seen earlier. Just like I have guessed.
[ Name: CHAESARA ]
[ Class: Fighter ]
[ LEVEL: 21 ]
[ Race: Human ]
[ Exp: 130/200 ]
[ HP: 38/40 ]
[ MP: 15 ]
[ Strength: 50 ]
[ Agility: 15 ]
[ Stamina: 40 ]
"Oh, I can see it now," I said.
"Really? But why can't I see yours?"
"I don't know. Maybe my level is still too low."
I also wonder why. Did I install a skill already? Or is this the rule that applies when I enter this world?
I opened the skill menu to check what was going on. Sara was walking again in front of me. And when I looked back at the akill menu, I found out that I had installed a skill called Veil to hide my true level. That way, I can avoid confrontation with a certain monster in the wild.
"Hey, why are you standing there?"
I looked up and immediately closed the menu when I heard Sara's voice and immediately followed her.
"Sorry."
Sara got on her horse and held out her hand to help me up. For a moment I just looked at her hand and then at her face.
"There is no other choice. There is only one horse here. Or do you want to go on foot?" Sara said.
I grabbed her hand and climbed behind her. From this close, I could smell the roses from Sara's hair. I smiled again. Things like the smell of her hair are one of the good things I can't get from the game.
We rode together through the path that cut through the forest. No need to walk far, we were finally out of the forest area.
The trees are no longer visible, replaced by a stretch of meadow.
The wind blew Sara's hair. I looked up where the sky was so bright. I could feel the warmth of the sun hitting my face. All of this feels so similar to the Fairytale Garden world I know. And it feels so real.
We rode for a long time until we finally arrived at the territory of the royal capital. The diamond-shaped spire of the Andoran Palace reflects the sun's rays from a distance. Its white walls that also seemed to glow in the light covered the entire royal capital.
Two guards in armor with blue ribbons crossed across their chests were waiting for us at the entrance.
"Princess, you have returned apparently." said a guard in his deep voice. His head was covered in a helmet so I couldn't see his face. He gestured to the guard on top of the wall to open the gate.
"You brought someone this time?" Ask another guard. Even though it was covered in a helmet, I could feel that he was giving me a probing gaze.
"He's lying in the middle of the woods alone. So I'm going to take him for treatment." Sara answered with a smile.
There was a loud rattling sound as the gears turned around each other. And the gate opens to two opposite sides.
Sara runs her horse into the city. All of this feels the same as I knew it. Andoran City is a prosperous city. As soon as I entered it I was greeted by the excitement of the city with its people walking on clear, smooth white paving
Almost the entire area of this city is covered with white paving that has existed since the city was founded.
The houses in the outer area of the palace are houses that consist of more than one floor. With buildings made with high-quality wood and stone that will not easily wear out. That was the first impression I got when I saw everything in real. In the game, I only see things while passing without so much attention.
Sara stopped her horse in front of a fountain. A statue in the form of a winged human is in the center.
"You can come down now." She said then. I got off the horse. Sara saw me from her horse then said.
"Behind you is the place of a great Healer. Go in there and check for any wounds on your body."
I just glanced at the building behind me and then back at Sara.
"Are you going to the palace?" I asked.
I saw the frown on Sara's forehead.
"You didn't even look surprised when you found out I was the Princess. Who exactly are you." instead of answering my question, Sara asked back.
I was also confused about what to answer and began to regret too much admiring the details of this game to the point that I forgot to be careful.
"But you are right, I'm going back to the palace," Ahe said then. "And maybe we'll meet again later."
Sara pulled the horse's leash. And Blue immediately sped through the crowd.
I kept staring at her back until he finally disappeared around a corner. I'll see her again later. After all, the only reason I'm here is for him. I don't care about the Demon Lord anymore.
But for now, I will explore this city first. I still think that a lot of things are different here compared to the game. Everything feels so real as if this is a world that stands alone. It's not a game that I only see on the PC monitor screen. I also wonder if the Fairytale Garden Game scenario will also apply, or can I decide everything myself?
I first visited the Healer Sara mentioned for information. I can visit the Guild building if I want to get better information. But I guess the Guild building is quite far from here.
I stepped into the Healer's house. The brown wooden door was tightly closed but the window was still open and I could see someone sitting behind the table inside.
I knocked on the door a few times and then opened it. When I turned to the side a woman in a white robe looked at me from behind her desk.
Then I saw her frown and tilt his head.
"Excuse me," I said. "Are you the Healer?"
The woman lifted her head again and looked at me. "Please sit down."
I walked while looking around. The shelves here held many books and other magical equipment that she might have been selling or using.
"What you need?" asked the Healer.
After getting this close I realized that his irises were greenish.
"I want to ask you a few things."
