When they arrived at the mall, Jeanohntae and Butler Lu walked in.
Jeanohntae was walking around looking for a beautiful gift for Ruth. Her eyes were caught by a beautiful Jade necklace. She new it was the perfect gift for Ruth. She bought it quickly.
Jeanohntae found a beautiful pocket watch with a gold lining. She decided to get it engraved. Upon engraving, Jeanohntae made Butler Lu stand outside. It was a gift for him. The words being engraved said: "To Butler Lu, From Jeanohntae. Thank you for your kindness."
Jeanohntae knew she just met Butler Lu, but he has been kind to her since he came. She just had to him a present.
Just as Jeanohntae was about to look further into the mall, she spotted a rose bracelet for Leah. She got so excited she had to buy it. Butler Lu noticed her eyes and followed her. She also decided to get a gift for Joseph and Rudy as well.
Butler Lu was wondering when she was about to get Christian's gift. "Umm, Ms. Jean, I do believe it's now time to get Sir his gift."
Jeanohntae looked at the Butler in confusion. She looked at her watch and noticed Christian was almost off. She has been at the mall for hours already. She was so distracted, she did not notice. "Ah! Oh my god I forgot."
Jeanohntae started rushing through the mall when she saw something. A pair of gold cuff links with the letter J. She knew it was gonna be an amazing gift. Christian has always doted on her, so she knew it would be perfect for him no matter what it is.
After getting all the gifts for a very long time, they were about to head home when she saw someone walking up to her looking red with anger. It was Anna.
Anna stomped all the way to Jeanohntae and stood right in front of her. "So, you claimed that Christian is your man and yet you're here with another man. How shameless!"
Jeanohntae had a look of distraught on her face, but she still put out a smile on her face. "Anna, what's the problem now!??"
"You may think that you belong to Christian, but he will always love me." Anna shrieked attracting the attention of every one who was close by.
Seeing how Jeanohntae wasn't speaking. Anna held her head high and continued. "You are a very shameless woman acting like you're with Christian and yet you're with another man. Does Christian know that!??"
Jeanohntae was not in the mood to argue. She turned around to walk around when Anna pulled her by the shoulder to turn back around. "Hey! I'm still talking to you. Don't turn your back on me."
Jeanohntae winced in pain. Although her wounds have healed in the outside, it was still very sore and tender internally.
Butler Lu was watching the scene unfold in front of him. He quickly dialed Christian's number to let him know about the situation.
Only a minute of talking, the phone hung up leaving the butler completely confused.
Butler Lu did not know Christian would know this lady. He walked up beside Jeanohntae to face Anna. "Miss, please do not bother madam. I am not her lover, I am the Butler escorting her."
Anna did not care, she just wanted to destroy Jeanohntae in public. "Stop lying, I know she is having an affair. There is no way Christian will still want a woman like her."
The onlookers who were listening to the two women arguing, looked at Jeanohntae with disdain and started talking about it amongst themselves.
Jeanohntae was really more annoyed. "Anna, if you want Christian for yourself, just ask him. But correct me if I'm wrong. The last time I recall, he already rejected you because I'm here. It must be a shame to be rejected by a man you love but will never love you back."
Anna was furious. She raised her hand to slap Jeanohntae. She closed her eyes preparing herself to take the slap, when a hand caught Anna's wrist.
"Anna! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING!??" A loud booming voice stopped the onlookers from talking. Anna was also indeed shocked.
Jeanohntae recognized the voice and opened her eyes. It's was Christian.
AT CM HOLDINGS
Christian was just finishing up his left over work when his phone started ringing. He saw the caller ID and it showed it was the Butler. "Speak!" Christian had an icy voice.
Butler Lu did not hesitate. "Sir, I just wanted to inform you that there is a woman here who seems to be causing trouble for Ms. Jean."
"What!" Christian was mad. "Who is it!??"
"I do not know her, but I believe madam has called the woman Anna." Butler Lu said.
"That damned woman. I'll be right there." Christian did not spare another second on the phone and hung up. He got even angrier at the thought of Anna bullying Jeanohntae.
He ran out the building and startled all the employees. He got into his car and sped off to the mall.
AT THE MALL
When he got there, he saw the Butler standing beside Jeanohntae and Anna yelling. He could hear her wretched voice from afar that he scrunched his nose in disgust.
He walked in big strides towards them. He saw Anna lift her hand to slap Jeanohntae. He noticed Jeanohntae closed her eyes and did not flinch. So he quickened his pace just in time to catch Anna's wrist.
"Anna! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING!??" Christian yelled.
Anna pulled her hand away and stumbled back a bit. "Chris, what are you doing here!?? I was just teaching this unfaithful woman a lesson."
Anna thought if she told Christian what happened, he would leave Jeanohntae. "She's cheating on you. I saw here with her lover right there." Anna pointed to Butler Lu. "I did not think she would cheat on you, but you needed to kn..."
"ENOUGH!" Christian was angry at the word Anna was saying. "That is the Butler I assigned to Jeanohntae. He was the one who called me here."
Anna's eyes widened. 'They were telling the truth all this time.' Even so, she did not want to lose Christian. "Chris, I'm sorry. I made a mistake. Please forgive me, I did not know." Anna tried to hug Christian but he dodged it.
Jeanohntae looked at Anna in amusement. 'This woman really did have an amazing acting skill.'
Jeanohntae smirked. "But Anna, we did try to tell you. However, you did not listen to reason and even pulled me by the shoulder when I did not want to argue and walk away from this silly dispute. Do you really hate me that much!??"
Christian looked at Anna with his red face full of anger. "You did what!??" Christian clenched his fist trying to control his anger. He was not the type to hit a woman, but at this very moment, he really wanted to smack Anna for hurting Jeanohntae.
Jeanohntae saw and held her hands in his. "Chris, it's alright. Me and Butler Lu are okay now."
Christian softened his gaze when he looked at Jeanohntae. "Are you alright!?? You're not hurt are you!??"
Jeanohntae shook her head and smiled. "I'm okay, I'm just a little sore. Nothing serious."
Christian smiled lightly at her words. 'Was she really about to take that slap!??' Christian was relieved she was not hurt, but he turned his head to Anna with a cold and stern look. "I do not want to see you anywhere near Jeanohntae or cause any kind of trouble. If you do, You will regret it for the rest of your life."
Anna was speechless. She started to cry. "Chris please. I was wrong, I am sorry. Please forgive me!" Christian ignored her plea and walked away.
Christian looked at the Butler. "I'll take her home."
He turned back to Jeanohntae and held her waist. "Come on, let's go home."
Anna stood in the same place alone watching the couple leave. She was completely embarrassed by Jeanohntae and then Christian. She could not move a single muscle. She was like a frozen statue.
