Chereads / The Unstoppable Trio: Book 1 / Chapter 35 - Grandpa Liam, Right?

Chapter 35 - Grandpa Liam, Right?

Now, there was a problem.

A very simple, yet significant problem.

The problem was that Phyllis did not know how to drift the car, there were less than 100 meters of distance between the two, and she wanted to stop near his car.

After all, what if he ran away again if she was too far.

She had assumed that they were playing Car Tag like last time. But she had lost last time by a fair margin of 500 meters.

She absolutely wanted to make sure she would win this time. So she had taken the wheel when Himu had sped up, there was no way she would let him get away.

She decided that she had seen it being done in a lot of movies, and it was time to try it out.

She rotated the wheel as fast and as strongly as she could. This made the car spin and her hands left the steering wheel; because of one second of no contact between the person and the steering wheel, Feingold took control, and so, other than slightly hitting Himu's car after spinning multiple times and Phyllis losing her sense of balance, everything was fine.

"Please save me." Himu said as he hastily got out of the vehicle and hid behind Mrs. Dahl.

"Oh, you want something from me? May I ask what I will get in return for saving you from my cute calamity?" She asked, still not looking away from her phone.

She was 5'6", a little taller than Himu, who barely passed for 5'5". If not for the natural dye that her maternal family made, her hair would look completely white, instead, it looked its natural dark brown colour. She possessed an angular face with a rounded jaw, a turned-up nose, thin lips, and mysterious blue eyes that were large.

Phyllis and Alma looked as gorgeous as the moon and the stars, the former had her father's black eyes and the hourglass figure that many boys, like Himu, so desired. Alma too had a similar figure, but she was as tall as her father, who was 5'8".

"I promise next time you put out a proposal in the board meeting, I'll make sure that Grandfather votes in your favour." Himu said, still hiding behind her while Phyllis was slowly getting out of the car.

"Huh? Who do you think you're fooling, son? You're going to give me something I already have? That's not a good deal for someone like me." Mrs. Dahl said, still scrolling on social media, as the girl slowly made her way to them, her head was spinning a bit, otherwise she was fine.

"Please? Just think of me as your own son for once and help me."

"Ughhhh... Fine! Fili! Go and do your homework first! No Himanshu until you complete it." She grunted.

"But mom..." Phyllis, having properly regained her senses started to say.

"No buts, no ifs, no ands. Just do it." She said, a bit sternly now, pressing a button on her phone.

"BUT I'VE ALREADY COMPLETED IT!" She shouted, maybe she didn't want to, but she knew there was little to no chance that she would be listened to even if she was right.

"Oh! That's new. Yeah, sorry son, this one's beyond me." She said, as her Kingdom arrived. She sat in it and went to her office.

"Hehe, Himu you little idiot, I learn from my mistakes." She proudly asserted, pointing her thumb at herself.

One can say, that Himu was now cornered, therefore there was possibly no way out, other than fighting back with all your power.

He decided that it was time to hunt the hunter.

"Well, you couldn't win in car tag, you still haven't touched me, so I win, so I will choose the next game. We're playing hide-and-seek." Himu laughed inwardly, he could easily get rid of her now.

Haha, let's see Hunter, how do you counter this...

"Play and all later, first come and eat the cake." Uncle Max, who had been quiet this entire time, spoke up abruptly.

And the fox got caught in the trap set by the second hunter. Now, what shall he do? He can't decline, that would be rude, and he was just in his office when he called him, so he would know that he doesn't have any work to do.

But, if he agrees and sits at the dining table, there's no doubt, absolutely no doubt, that Phyllis would sit right next to him.

He did not want to stand up from the table with a face full of lipstick left from kisses.

But her luscious lips were so pink. Up close, even he sometimes forgot about her behavior and would just fall in love with that cute, childish face.

Nevertheless, not listening to her father, Phyllis jumped on him and kissed him for a couple of seconds before leaving his lips alone.

"Alright! Let's go in." Phyllis said, now just slightly putting all of her weight on Himu's chest.

Himu was blushing hard enough to make the fire in his heart look pale.

Alma came in front of them and took a picture with her phone. "I'll send that to Swara, Gagan, and your grandpa."

Swara and Gagan were fine, they already knew his situation, and would just lightly tease him about it.

"Grandpa Liam, right?" Himu wanted to make sure that he was not going to be in trouble.

"Oh! Sorry, I meant to say grandpas with an 's'."

Himu had three words in his mind right now.

{I. am. dead.}
