"Congratulations, you have levelled up. You are now Level 2." the metallic voice ringed.
"Wow, that was way too fast, impressive as always." I thought out loud, thinking about how many monsters Rudra must have killed.
"Yup, brother does like killing monsters." Swara, in game name, Aphrodite said, as she kept on walking, "It's great how we can just stay in the city and level up while one of our party members is fighting the monsters."
At that moment, I saw a yellow house whose door was half open. "Hey, do you think we should check it out? It's basically inviting us." I said, pointing towards it.
"Yup, there's definitely a quest there." Aphrodite told him.
What he didn't know, or anybody except Swara for that matter, was that she had already died 5 years later and reincarnated when an angel sacrificed herself to send her back in time. Why she did that, even Swara didn't know. All she know was that she had knowledge of future events that were going to occur, one of them being that there was a chain quest in that house.
Loki knocked on the door. "Hello, is anyone there?"
There was no reply.
"Hello?" He said louder than before.
"Who's there?" They heard a rather weak voice.
They opened the door and saw a dark house that, although clean, looked kinda dull, there was a faint light coming from a room.
They entered the room and saw an old lady with wrinkles all over her face, she looked quite frail, she was a bit scared on seeing them, lying on a bed and trembling, she couldn't do anything about two strangers entering her house, she took them to be henchmen sent by the local moneylender.
Looking at her, Loki thought she was scared because he was a werewolf. "Ma'am I know I look like a werewolf, I AM one, but I'm not a bad guy. Honest."
"Brother, did you just turn stupid or something?" Aphrodite whispered to him.
"What? Why do you ask that?" He whispered back.
"Because, Helbens is a multiethnic town. So seeing werewolves is natural for a person here."
"Oh yeah, right, sorry."
"I swear, we'll return your money by next week, please go away." she said, anger and fright evident in her weak voice.
"What? No, no ma'am, please don't be scared, we are not here to harm you or take something from you." Himu said, as he saw Swara completely disregard our conversation and checking her temperature.
๐๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ฉ๐ข๐ด ๐ข ๐ง๐ฆ๐ท๐ฆ๐ณ. She thought as she placed a wet cloth lying nearby on her forehead.
"Umm, Aphro, she's an NPC. You think that will help?" I asked her.
"I don't know, but I wanted to help her."
The lady, on seeing that they didn't have any bad intentions, smiled weakly. "Thank you, young girl, you must be Heroes."
"Umm, Ye..." as Aphrodite was about to say something, Loki chimed in, " No ma'am, we're not Heroes, we are just random adventurers who were passing by." {I mean yeah, Aphro did help her a bit, but I wouldn't call that heroic. She didn't fight a dragon while protecting someone.}
"Psst, Himu bro, NPCs refer to us players as 'Heroes', descendants of the Chosen Seven." Aphrodite explained to him in a low voice.
"Oh, I'm sorry ma'am, yes, we are heroes." he apologized sheepishly.
The old lady chuckled at the youngster, "Kind Heroes, can I ask you for a favour?"
Loki eyes lit up, ๐๐'๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐! "Yes ma'am, sure, please tell us what is troubling you?"
The old lady told them, "My name is Gaula and I live here with my daughter Isaella and grandson Tolm. I do not know where my daughter is, but I do know that Tolm has gone to find a Dragonrose herb, that grows in the woods north of the town. Could you please bring him back, he might know where Isaella is."

{Hmm, the system can only recommend the level for a quest, because this is a world of almost no restrictions, they can't stop us from taking quests higher than out levels. I hope that doesn't happen with dungeons.}
Then he giggled after seeing the rewards. "Wow, your quest is gonna give us some great rewards Aphro."
Pouting, Aphro replied to Loki, "Well, it's a chain quest, so you never know what you might get."
"I accept Miss Gaula." Aphrodite said.
"Thank you, kind youngster." Gaula told her.
"Quest Confirmed." the system informed them.
"Congratulations, you have successfully completed the sub-quest, giving rewards."
"Dragonrose flower added to inventory of party member Rudra."
{What? But... What? How? I mean... okay yes, he did go to the northern side, but...} was all Loki could think.
Then he saw something else, he saw his brother's HP starting to drop. It went from 90% to 70% in a few seconds.
"Brother's in trouble, let's go to the woods." Loki told her and started running.
Aphro followed him as she too checked his health bar, which now dropped to 65%.
