The gardener blinked as if he realized that he had done something out of context.
He yelled, "I apologize for acting like this, Your Grace. As your butler, Martin, and your closest staff, I couldn't stop myself from missing your presence!"
It seemed like she made the mistake of assuming that the man was a gardener.
Valerie shrugged, "It's fine."
She looked at the door at the back of the butler. It seemed like the place looked like something she had been in and out regularly.
The butler sprinted and grabbed the rake that he left off and disappeared from their sight in a rush. And after a few moments, the butler came back with his gloves and apron taken off of him, showing off his suit, shirt, and tie.
The butler, who introduced himself as Martin, stood by the door and pushed it with his right hand. It didn't have to be a hard push to open the door.
Several old hanging candle lights lit up the hallway of the manor.
