We got in, myself, Mu Qingxuan and Xie Long sitting in one, as they grouped us based on our talent. She seemed to shy away from him, but was constantly asking me questions, as if she was probing me.
It was stuff like,
''How did you meet Xie Long?,
What are you going to do once you've reached the sect?'

After around 45 minutes of her pestering me, and ol' Xie Long being completely ignored, the testers shouted,
''Everyone, out, we've reached the sect! Come out, and get behind me.''
Xie Long, Mu Qingxuan and I exited, and went behind the man, waiting for the others. They audibly gasped at the extravagance of it. The gate alone was made of spirit steel, a material capable of being created once a Core Formation or above cultivator dies near an ore deposit. The walls around it were made of something with what looked like spirit steel with a tiny bit of low-tier spirit jade mixed with it, an all-natural treasure that boosts the cultivation speed of anyone near it. After everyone had grouped up behind him, we started walking and were suddenly stopped by two guards:
''Whilst we don't suspect you, Examiner Dong, Halt! Stand still, so you can be inspected to make sure you're not a demonic cultivator disguised as a child. This is mandatory, don't think we are doing this to you unnecessarily.''
They started using a sleek black item that looks like a scanner known as a Disguise Dispeller on all of us, and, after we had been checked, they let us in.
The moment we had stepped in, I sensed many people's divine sense sweeping over us, deciding if we were unpolished gold or scrap metal. The tester, no, Examiner Dong, led us to a hall with a few people wearing black clothing, which had writing on them that identified these people as elders, as well as hundreds, if not thousands of other children.He gave them each a copy of the papers that had our talents written on it, they looked over it, and then started discussing between themselves on who they would take.
Whilst the other elders were discussing between themselves, a began a speech.
''You have all been chosen to join our sect, and that means that, from wherever you come from, you have talent. No matter how high, or how low it is, you have talent, and I don't want you to forget that. You have talent, and you will bring honor to your family with it. I hope you travel far on the path on cultivation!''
Most of these kids' spirits were roused by that, and they started cheering. The man opened his mouth and said,
''It is now time for the elders to choose who they would like for their peaks, or even to be a possible disciple. If multiple elders pick the same person, the choice lies with the disciple. Goodbye, and, hopefully, in many years' time, you will be the one choosing disciples.''
He rapidly de-aged, and left, shocking many others. He was probably the sect master trying to act cool, I'm guessing..
Before making their choices, all of us Unrankeds got up, and walked to the elders, waiting for them to see if we had anything special. There were, surprisingly, 2 others from other places. They grabbed a higher quality Qi Gathering orb(than the one from previous chapter), and put it in our hands, and, seeing the results, would make their decisions.
''Lin Hai, you have a water-inclined physique, and you will be capable of reaching a realm unknown to this orb. You shall go to our parent sect, The All-Elemental Holy Land! Once you reach there, don't forget to paint us in a good light.
Yan Xifeng, you have an element that is created by mixing Wood and Metal.(couldn't sense due to the special element) Although we said you'd have a choice, you shall join Elder Chu's Peak as her direct disciple, as you both have the same variant, so she would know best on how to further your cultivation.
Mu Qingxuan, you have a wind-inclined physique. You shall join Elder Ji, our newest and most talented elder, becoming a nascent soul elder at just 21,'s peak as his direct disciple, as he has a dual-element physique, with one of them being wind, and the other water.
Xie Long, you have a water-inclined physique, and shall also join Elder Ji.''
Hoho, now it's my turn. Let's see what I have in this life..
'' And last, Jiang Yi. You… have a physique known as the Blank Physique. You don't have an element… Yet. It allows you to choose any two elements, and you will have great proficiency in them, but for the others, you will fail at anything except the barebones minimum possible.''

I was asked to attend this year's disciple-accepting ceremony by Elder Kong, and, after hearing him ask non-stop, I finally accepted, although I wasn't expecting much. I entered, followed by 3 servants who slowly stepped away after I reached the podium where elders stand. The new disciples entered in droves excitedly, awaiting for the decision of which peak they would join. All of a sudden, I heard a notification from my system.
[Ding! 4 worthy disciples detected! See data? Y/N]
Whoa, 4 at once? I only have two so far, and I've been in this body for a year!
I clicked yes, and their data showed up
