"Are you really okay?" Radan asked him again.
"I'm ... uh, I don't know ..." Vidus rubbed his eyes.
"Okay, hold my place for a second. I bring something to drink." Radan said while he stood up and walked away.
"At least be less strong!" Vidus shouted after him.
A few minutes later Radan arrived back with 2 bottles of beer in his hands. He casually sat down on the chair and handed one bottle to Vidus.
"Don't worry, it's an eastern beer." Radan said with calmness.
Without any words, Vidus grasped the bottle and finished it in one breath.
"Aaahhh, that was bad. I mean, good. Whatever ... the eastern beers are like water except for the little alcohol ..." He put down the bottle after a little comment about the beer.
"So, what happened?" Radan asked again while he slowly sipped on the beer.
"That girl, she is an aura user." Vidus pointed at the cell.
*Cough* *Cough*
"What?!" He nearly choked to death after hearing Vidus' words.
"As I said, that girl is an aura user and a really strong one." He confirmed his words.
"Then why you dragged her here?"
"It's simple. If someone would notice, they surely would bring her to the capital." He casually said.
"But, it is not your intention, too?" Radan questioned him.
"It would be, but ... huh. How can I tell without causing you a heart attack? Vidus looked at Radan with a slight smile.
"Hah, there is no way you would cause me a heart attack!" He laughed while he put the bottle of beer to his mouth.
"Crystalfield Kingdom." He said.
Radan spitted out the beer and coughed sometimes before putting down the bottle and turned his nearly shocked to death face at Vidus.
"What the hell are you talking about?!"
"The circumstances are not that important now ... she needs to leave the city as fast as possible. Her life will be in danger if she stays here."
"Wha-why? I can't understand!" Radan nearly tore some skin from his face.
For Vidus, it was a pleasure to see his old friend falling apart as he usually makes a nonchalant reaction on nearly everything that once happened in the city since they have been promoted. Vidus resisted all urge to laugh at him because it was so entertaining to see him this stressed.
"Her aura awakened not long ago. And because the aura hunters didn't find her means she hiding since the fall of the kingdom." Vidus explained his theory to Radan.
"If what you told is true, it doesn't explain why she appeared here!" Radan questioned Vidus.
"Hmm ..." Vidus started to think.
A few moments later some thoughts flashed inside his head like a lightning strike.
"Don't tell ..." The words left his mouth unconsciously.
"Huh?" Radan's eyes turned on Vidus after his unexpected half sentence.
"Take a break. I will stay on guard." Vidus said.
"I don't understand." Radan raised his eyebrows.
"I said go and eat dinner and take care of your wife you braindead moron ... or should I keep her company tonight?" He told with a little deepened voice.
"Go to hell if you touch my wife! I will be going to castrate you if you dare to do that!" He stood up in an instant and pointed his slightly trembling hand at Vidus.
"Then don't let her wait for you." Vidus said with a smile on his face.
Without any more words, Radan left the floor.
Vidus just took deep breaths as he slowly walked next to the cell where Lyanna lay. He crouched next to it and looked at the girl more carefully.
"Warlord Aura." He said.
Vidus activated his aura, making the atmosphere around him suffocating.
His aura, even if it was more unique, is still considered a weaker one since many people who acquired this aura have never could use its full power.
In his eyes, an unfathomable aura was around the girl's body, making Vidus a bit nervous. He has never seen a person with this kind of strong aura that in his eyes can even look like it's burning the air around its skin.
'Just who the hell are you really?' He questioned himself as he looked at the girl on the other side of the iron bars.
Vidus looked at the girl for nearly an hour and his eyes still focused on her. He couldn't comprehend what lay before his eyesight, yet he refused to leave.
After another hour, the girl slowly opened her eyes and at the moment she was fully awake, her eyes turned at the man who stared at her behind the iron bars.
