*Pant* *Pant* Heavy panting could be heard.
It was all a blur.
The feeling of burning.
Fires in the distance.
Screams of helpless people being massacred.
Visions of women getting obscenely ravaged.
Sights of men getting decapitated.
----------
'What a horrible dream!' Light thought in his head as he awoke. His blurriness started to dissipate and his senses came back to him. He could hear the trotting of horses and feel the constant movement of his surroundings.
Looking around, Light sees an unrecognizable place. He quickly realizes that this is not his room and rubs his eyes to clear up his vision faster. Surveying his surroundings, Light sees that he is in a moderately sized old carriage. Looking to his sides, he saw about 10 other people besides him, stemming from all ages young and old.
He blinks hard another time before seeing that he is still in the same place. He then pinches himself, realizing that he still can't wake up from what he thought was a dream. Suddenly, he feels a stinging and piercing pain coming from his left shoulder down to the end of his left ribcage. Looking down, Light sees that he is heavily bandaged up in that area.
He touches the bandaged area and an explosive burning sensation sends shivers down his spine. "Ack!" Light slightly winces in pain. His hand then falls to his side.
'Huh!? System!?' Light questions in his head, completely dumbfounded.
'I- what is going on?!' Light asks in frustration and confusion.
After hearing this in his head, Light immediately gets seemingly transported into an entirely different area. He couldn't control his body and everything he saw was quick and slightly blurry.
He was summoned to an area just like the dream he had just experienced. His lungs were completely worn out from the nonstop running so he stopped and took a break to look around. He saw his entire village being trampled on by blurry figures on horseback. They set fires on all of the homes and were killing all of the people mercilessly, even laughing while doing so.
He was crying at this moment. He then looked behind him as a man tripped and fell to the floor beneath him. A blurry figure on a horse then appeared and slashed the head of the man with a long sword, decapitating the man and splashing all of the blood on Light's face. Light's breathing was almost completely stopped at this moment.
He then looked all over in all directions, seeing people burning alive and women being obscenely ravaged. Finally, he looked in the direction of his house that was on fire. "M-Mother!" He yelled out as he ran towards his burning house.
He opened the door to see a horrific scene. All of his siblings were dead and their bodies were scattered all over the rooms. He then saw a sight of his mother. She seemed to be fine, sleeping normally, a glimmer of hope in the reality that had not yet hit him.
Light ran over to her and then came across the other side of her face. It was completely burned off and brain matter could be seen hanging out. Seeing this sight, Light puked all over the dead body of his mother and fell to his knees.
It was traumatic and horrifying. He couldn't have imagined this even in his worst nightmare. All he could feel was absolute despair. Light bawled his eyes out before being crushed by a burning log from above, however, the log did not kill him. The process of his death was slow as he burned to death.
It was all over, he was ready for death. Light closed his eyes halfway before suddenly getting an emotion that he was very unfamiliar with, hatred. "How could they do this!?" Light yelled out in pain. "WE ARE ALSO HUMANS!" He said as he cried and exclaimed, remembering the laughter of the blurry figures.
"I WILL GET REVENGE IF ITS THE LAST THING I DO, NOT EVEN THE HEAVENS CAN STOP ME!!" Light finally said as he started losing consciousness. Right before he passed out, he could hear a certain message in his head.
After this, Light was instantly transported back into the present. He was breathing heavily and also had teary eyes. Those were not just images in his head, but clear memories. The hatred he felt then had been realized how Light now. He quickly wiped the tears off of his eyes.
An old man sitting in front of Light saw him in this distraught state, he had also noticed Light pinching himself just moments before. Light felt a hand touch his shoulder and instantly looked up to see the hand of the old man sitting in front of him on his shoulder.
"It's alright my friend, do not cry. I know how hard it must have been for you, but this can only be a good thing!" The old man said. Light was slightly confused as to what the old man was talking about, he must have misunderstood.
"It seems your a little confused so let me explain to you our current situation. We are currently on our way to one of the great sects in this big blue Uiovantio! The name of this sect is the Hanjiao sect. Once we arrive, we will be able to become servants for the outer sect disciples of the Hanjiao sect! This is even a dream for many! Be happy that you will be accepted in such a position!" The old man said.
"Even though that is true, I myself will most likely just be killed off. I am in no state to be a servant... there is no hope for me." The old man said, trying to get a different opinion on the way of things so that maybe he could get hope of surviving. He looked discouraged and took his hand off of Light's shoulder.
'What the heck? Is this old man wanting my attention?' Light thought to himself. The carriage continued to go up the large mountain that they were on.
----------
On a planet on the other side of the cosmos.
A man could be seen sitting inside of a cavern located at the side of a mountain side's peak. He opens his crimson red eyes. The man looked to be very old, having a large gray beard and overgrown body hair, his face however was rough and stern yet symmetrical. His body was robust and vigorous as he sat with his legs crossed. He seemed to have been sitting in this position in this cavern for many millennia. As he stood up, the rubble that had been built upon his head and shoulders fell to the floor.
The man suddenly breaks out into a menacing laugh that sends tremors down the mountain. The red and crimson eyes of the man light up as he speaks. "So it has finally chosen a successor?!" The man says. The last word was said in a questioning and angry tone.
The man then punches the boulder blocking the exit of the cavern, shattering it to bits and pieces, and jumps into the sky, soaring for over a thousand meters before landing on the ground. As he walked away from the mountain while stretching his limbs, the entire mountain behind him cracked and collapsed on itself.
"Where are you..." The man said as he jumped again into the distance.

After a couple of hours of traveling, Light suddenly started to hear the sound of people talking on the outside of the carriage. Looking outside one of the windows, Light could see a medieval Chinese city with many shops that were lined up on the sides of the streets that created a bustling atmosphere. Light wanted to explore this world much more after seeing this but restrained himself.
Light was thinking that if what the old man said was true, becoming a servant for an outer sect disciple may come with its advantages, although Light hated even the idea of becoming a servant for another, there was no damage in trying it out.
Looking to where the carriage was headed, Light could see a large wall that was colorful and had a unique and beautiful pattern in this distance. From the outside, Light could see that there were many buildings inside with their roofs being shown over the wall. On the gate, Light saw a sign. Although the lettering on the sign was something that he had never seen before, it seemed that he could still completely comprehend it.
"Hanjiao Outer Servant Sect" It read.
