Since it was already nighttime, this was the perfect moment to go looking for this dungeon. If it happened to have a good cultivation technique, this would greatly benefit Light. According to the system, dungeons also apparently had difficulty levels that were indicated by the aura of the dungeon. White would indicate that it was the weakest. Even those in the third qi refinement realm could potentially go in these alone.
Yellow was the next aura, indicating a slightly dangerous dungeon that had many traps and even some beasts that one would have to fend off in order to reach the final dungeon room. It would take at least a foundation establishment realm cultivator to fully complete a yellow aura dungeon.
After yellow came the red aura dungeons. These dungeons were drastically stronger than the yellow ones, needing around five foundation establishment realm cultivators to complete it. In red aura dungeons, beasts that could even rival multiple foundation establishment realm cultivators also existed. Of course, the rewards were much greater. Finally, the black aura dungeons were the most dangerous. These dungeons were rarely ever seen but were absolutely a nightmare to deal with. The exact power needed to complete such a dungeon was never found out.

After running for about two hours, Light finally arrived at the dungeon. Of course, it was hidden. Light walked around stepping on every rock in the middle of the forest where the system informed him the dungeon was until finally, a rock pushed into the ground, opening a ten by ten crater up.
Light jumped down the hole and landed in a yellow aura dungeon. 'Not bad.' Light thought.
The dungeon itself looked quite old, it was made of old and eroding stone bricks and was nothing but a cramped hallway that was about three by three meters. Light made his way through the hallway. There were some traps here and there like arrows shooting at him regularly or spikes coming from his sides, but Light could easily avoid all of them.
Because this was a dungeon meant for a foundation establishment realm cultivator, Light stayed on guard. After about half an hour of walking, the hallway opened up to a large room. In the middle of the room was a slightly glowing shrine. The moment Light took a step in the room, the ancient inscriptions in the ground started to glow up, all flowing to the shrine and making the shine glow brightly as well.
Light made his way to the shrine. There was nothing but a handprint set in stone that glowed brightly. Light took the hint and placed his hand on the glowing print. Instantly, a scroll appeared in front of him, along with a storage ring of some sort.
'This scroll must be the cultivation technique!' Light thought to himself. Opening the scroll, it was indeed the cultivation technique. The Great Blood Art Cultivation Technique. It was a great ranked cultivation technique which was quite amazing. Light then picked up the ring on the shrine and opened its inventory to see what was inside.
Inside, there were about 50 gold, 200 spirit stones, and a large lightning sword. The sword immediately caught Light's attention. He quickly pulled it out of the ring's inventory and held it in his hand. The sword was six entire feet in length and was about six inches wide. It was magnificent.
Light was in awe. There also seemed to be electricity crackling and revolving around the sword. Although it looked heavy, it was actually quite light. As he checked out the sword some more, the system spoke.
On saying this, the entire room started to rumble a little bit. 'Huh?' Light thought. Multiple large thumping sounds could be heard getting louder and louder. Light still had his guard up but he didn't know where the sound was coming from.
Out of nowhere, a large red gorilla seemingly teleported in front of Light. Its speed was immensely high. The gorilla was over 20 feet in height and looked like a big brute of muscle, its aura was menacing, making Light want simply bow down to it.
Light's mind immediately started to run at lightning speed. Multiple possibilities and ideas came to his head but all of them ended in his death. Unfortunately, the gorilla was blocking the only exit. 'Is there any way I can escape here alive?' Light questioned the system as a last-ditch effort.
'Well hurry up and tell me then!' Light was getting impatient. It seemed that the gorilla didn't want to make the first move, however, and Light was frozen on the spot.
'Fuck! I have no choice do I? Do it! Form the bond!' Light said in his mind.
The system immediately went to work. Suddenly, a ray of light erupted out of Lights glabella and shot into the gorilla's glabella. instantly the gorilla disappeared into thin air. The ray of light then disappeared as well as Light fell on the floor breathing heavily. He never wanted to make such a silly mistake again.
Even though he excepted the proposal, Light still had no idea about what a soul bond even was.
This was good news for the most part, except for the fact that it was quite a weak beast that Light formed a soul bond to.
"What!?" This was surprising news. "Are you saying that I also have a chance to get a stronger bloodline by choosing one randomly? Does that mean that I can also get the strongest bloodline?!" Light said excitedly.
"What is the strongest bloodline of this gorilla?" Light asked. He had to make sure that this was the right thing to do.
Light almost coughed blood after hearing such a thing. He still decided to do it, however. He may not get the strongest of bloodlines, but he hoped to at least get something stronger than what he currently had.
"Choose from a random bloodline..." Light said.
A holographic wheel suddenly appeared in front of Light. It was a wheel of the different ancestors of the gorilla but there were so many bloodlines that Light couldn't read a single one of them. Light spun the wheel.
After ten seconds of the wheel spinning, it landed on a random bloodline. Light was nervous and full of anticipation.

"What?! An unknown bloodline?! What's that supposed to mean?!" Light was dumbfounded. "Is it at least stronger than the previous bloodline?" Light questioned the system.
Light wanted to cry out loud after hearing that.
The system also informed him that it would take around 5 hours for the soul bond to fully be completed.
