Chapter 7 - Promotion

Carla, who felt ignored by Carren, could only pursed her lips cutely.

She was a little annoyed because Carren seemed to hang her. After all, the girl had just entered the fun zone according to her.

Can't Carren think about that?

That's more or less what the curious girl is feeling now.

She wants to really feel how it feels to fall in love with loving people with all her heart as she sees around her, especially after she explores Judith and Nial's love story that makes her jealous.

Why doesn't she become the main character who feels the feeling of love?

Such things repeatedly entered Carla's narrow mind.

Just as Carla was about to call Carren, who didn't want to go into dreamland so that she could communicate face-to-face with her, she was immediately drawn back to the world of The Liar Of Love.

'Ah, it turns out that Carren wants to continue her story. Why did you have to lie to me,' Carla whispered in her mind.

Carla automatically returned to the last position where Carren hung her story.

[The Liar Of Love

Carla and Jayke now seemed to be getting closer to each other, as if they were old friends, although, of course, they didn't know each other before.

"You said you just came back today. Where have you been all this time? It's not like it wasn't in a short period of a year or two that you left," Carla said to Jayke with her heart filled with curiosity.

Jayke frowned, confused to hear Carla's question, which he thought was quite detailed.

"How do you know? I haven't been back here for a long time. Is it possible that you are really close to my twin?"

A weak sigh Carla gave Jayke.

"What is it?" Jayke asked who was now more curious about Carla in front of him.

"Maybe I'm a stupid girl who your twin brother can easily trick. If you were very close to your twin, I might also scold you because of my anger, but because I also understand your position, so I think it's ridiculous if I use you or something like that ."

Oh, come on, why does Carla make him even more curious than before?

"You mean? Can you tell clearly who you really are?" Asked Jayke finally tried to confirm back with Carla.

Carla took a deep breath and let it out slowly before answering Jayke's question.

"I'm Nial's ex-girlfriend whom I just broke up with yesterday, and you know what hurts?—"

For a moment, Carla hung her sentence.

"He's having an affair, and it seems his love story with his new girlfriend is really romantic and full of drama, even if people who don't know me, and say I was Nial's girlfriend yesterday, maybe they will think I'm the third person between them, but In fact, I've had a three year relationship with Nial, which in the past year your twin has just disappeared."

Jayke, who heard it, of course, seemed to be being slapped by the girl in front of him.

He really couldn't understand why Nial left the girl who he thought had a great appeal.

"On behalf of my brother, I apologize to you, Carla," said a self-aware Jayke.

A small chuckle was actually answered by Carla.

"It's not your fault, so you don't have to apologize to me. Besides, you don't know anything about my previous story, right? So, it's not your fault."

A smile Jayke gave Carla.

"I didn't know your story was complicated enough," Jayke said at last, "Ah yes, since my twin has wronged you, is it still possible for me to be friends with you?" Jayke asked Carla.

Quickly and without thinking at all, Carla immediately told Jayke that she didn't limit her friendship with anyone, so of course, she accepted Jayke's friend request without exception.

"Thank you, you are my first friend here," Jayke shouted happily as he stretched his hand back to Carla, who was immediately greeted by the girl.

Carla smiled contentedly. She is also happy to be a friend of Jayke's, which she thinks will be happy if she has a friend like Jayke.

"Since we're friends, can I have your number?" Jayke asked Carla.

Another smile appeared on Carla's pretty face, and Carla shyly answered Jayke's question.

The two of them exchanged contact with each other.

'Is it possible for Jayke to be Nial's replacement?']

Carren, who had just finished the next scene, immediately smiled with satisfaction and imagined how happy the characters in the novel were.

"I've fulfilled my promise Carla, so I don't have any debt," Carren whispered as she pressed the publish button on the platform where she could publish it.

'My new plot should make the story much more interesting than before.' Carren whispered quietly.

Jasver, who had just returned from his office and was about to step into his apartment, immediately stopped his steps for a moment after getting the notification he had always been waiting for adorned the screen of his cellphone.

'Ah, he really follows my words so that I can enjoy it every day.' Jasver monologues happily.

Not only as a reader, Jasver as an editor who saw the rating of Carren's book, which was quite good, of course, had put the book in the promotional column which was supposed to be broadcast starting tomorrow for a week.

Should I give her a message, telling her that tomorrow her book will be included in the promotion column so she can publish more chapters?' Jasver whispered in his mind considering what he was trying to do.

Not wanting to think too long, Jasver immediately typed the message to Carren.

[Sorry to bother you, I just wanted to let you know that your book tomorrow will be in the top promotion column during the week, I hope you can make good use of the opportunity, thank you]

Jasver smiled slightly when the message was sent, and after that, he stepped back into his apartment.

"Ah, Jasver gave me a message!" squealed Carren, who was overjoyed.

Not even just smiling but she jumped a little happy to find a message she just got.

She knew Jasver's message wasn't far from her job, but for her, it was more than enough compared to her old self, who could only stare from a distance.

'Ah… if only I could get closer than this to Jasver.'
