Chapter 11 - The Royal Hotel

Early this morning Carren was busy with her laptop screen, which as she promised Jasver earlier, she would release five chapters today, which means she has to write early right?

Such things were on Carren's mind at the moment.

A smile and the image of Jasver's face flashed in her head.

Oh come on, Carren is currently blooming, she feels that the love she once had in her imagination was just a fantasy, now it feels more real and is more likely to become real.

Carren took a deep breath and let it out while displaying that beautiful smile.

[The Liar Of Love

Since the friendship that existed between Jayke and Carla, the two now seem closer than before.

The two communicated with each other, discussing whatever it was, because for Jayke, Carla was his first friend in the country after he returned from traveling away from the country.

As if repeating his new life, Jayke seemed comfortable there, only what Carla didn't know was that the young man actually didn't dare to rejoin his family, he just spent his time doing his own thing without Nial or his family knowing.

"Hey, are you in trouble?" asked Carla who noticed a change in Jayke's face when the notification on the cellphone screen on the table rang.

Jayke forced a smile, and soon let out a long breath, as if he was getting rid of the fatigue that was in his head.

The young man seemed to be in deep thought, with thoughts running through his head.

Whether he would say it or not was something Jayke was currently considering.

"My twin messaged me," Jayke finally said.

Carla, who previously looked relaxed, suddenly tensed up a little knowing the person Jayke was referring to her ex-lover.

"Are you okay?" Jayke asked who noticed the change in Carla's expression from before.

Carla stammered a little to tell Jayke that she was fine. She felt bad for her new friend if she explained how she really felt.

Jayke smiled faintly and took Carla's hand.

"That's okay, if you feel uncomfortable hearing about Nial I won't continue, you can take it easy, I'm on your side," Jayke said to Carla.

A tweet said thank you, Carla, gave to Jayke. Oh come on Jayke is getting to know the girl pretty well, so he doesn't want to waste his first best friend right?

That's more or less what Jayke had in mind.

'What should I reply to him,' Jayke softly looked back at his cellphone for a moment.

After thinking for a moment, then Jayke replied to the message sent by Nial.

[I'm fine, why did you suddenly ask me to meet you?]

In less than a minute, Nial immediately replied to the message.

[This is important, you better come to The Royal hotel tonight, I will be waiting for you, I hope you come]

Jayke's brow furrowed at the text message. One big question for Jayke is...

... How did Nial know that Jayke had returned to his country when he hadn't told the slightest about his presence there.

When she saw Jayke's face, Carla really wanted to ask Jayke what was going on, but didn't she seem to be telling Jayke herself that she didn't want to interfere or hear anything related to Nial?

In the end, Carla just chose silence, and just watched her best friend's face. Until now, she had not been able to fully forget how she felt for Nial, and for that reason, Carla chose to remain silent.

It takes time.

Without hesitation, Carla took the initiative to hold Jayke's hand and rub it gently, trying to calm Jayke down, without her knowing what was really going on.

Jayke who noticed Carla's small action gave the girl a small smile.

"Looks like tonight, I have to meet him."

Those were the only words that came out spontaneously from Jayke's lips. Carla who honestly didn't know the whole thing just nodded her head.

"You just follow your heart Jayke, don't burden yourself," Carla said to Jayke.

A low nod, Jayke gave Carla.

"Thank you, can you call me after twenty minutes I'll text you later if I want to see him later?"

Carla blinked her eyes slowly. Honestly, She didn't understand why Jayke wanted her to do that.

Wouldn't it be a little odd for him to say that?

What made Jayke choose to say that to her?

Things like that now bother Carla's thoughts.

Jayke, who realized that Carla seemed to be thinking about the real reason for what was happening, in the end, he chose to try to explain to Carla implicitly.

"My heart was a little restless, and I had a feeling that something wasn't right when he tried to contact me."

Again Carla frowned. Oh come on, Carla has known Nial for three years she doesn't feel weird about Nial, so what makes Jayke worry about meeting Nial?

She really wanted to ask Jayke what she was curious about, but she chose to remain silent and told Jayke she would do what Jayke said.

"Okay, I'll set my timer, the next time you give me a message and don't hesitate if there's something I need to help you with. Even if you meet him later."

A light chuckle Jayke gave Carla.

"So now you can tell the difference between me and Nial?" Jayke asked Carla.

A quick nod Carla gave Jayke.

"Really?" Jayke asked, jumping slightly in surprise.

Carla gave another quick nod of her head. Really this time Carla looked confident like never before.

"Your facial features are the same, only if the Nial I know doesn't have a mole on his neck, you have one, and you have deeper dimples when you smile when you notice it."

"Is that true?" Jayke asked, reassuring Carla's words.

"Hum, you take it easy, I've known him for a long time, so I know very well that you are different from him."

Reflexively Jayke's hand reached out to stroke Carla's head.

"It turns out you really know me apparently, I thought you didn't really know me," Jayke said to Carla.

Carla chuckled at Jayke's previously doubtful words.

"I'm the one who doubts that you really know me," Carla said, taking turns cornering Jayke.

Jayke could only give Carla a faint smile.

"I don't really know you, it's just that I know that you really like chocolate."

Carla just laughed as she nodded her head.
