ALESTER:
"You should go inside."
Phiona narrowed her eyes at him. "I see."
"You see what?"
"..."
"You see what?!"
Phiona turned around and closed the door behind her, but Alester caught it with his arm and pushed it open.
He stared at her, startled by his own actions, but still angry at what she could be thinking.
"..."
He had no idea what he was about to say, but the angry words died on his lips as Phiona flung herself to him, wrapping her arms around his waist and pulling him close.
Her lips whimpered into his shoulder.
Alester's body went rigid. He didn't know what to do. Phiona wrapped herself around him and he found he didn't hate it as much as before.
Alester still didn't want her touching him, but he found a feeling of compassion towards her. He didn't want to be rash in pulling away; he didn't want to hurt her.
