The boys then loaded up their things and helped the girls with their boards. Somewhere along the way, Rachel climbed into a car with Daniel and the boys, leaving Iona and Nicole alone. So naturally, since Iona's been grounded, and the girls haven't really had time to catch up because some things can only be explained in person, the girls started talking. Nicole started asking Iona more about what happened on the beach, and Iona tells her everything. Every little detail and Nichole starts to wonder what happened to her friend in these few short weeks to cause her to change so much. She can't put her finger on it, but she somehow seems different.
