"Well...yes. I did, but I'm not doing it again." Iona says a little sheepishly, "I got in too much trouble for it to be worth doing it again."
"Why on earth would you skip a day? We all know that you wouldn't do it. Not on your own at least, you're too strict with yourself about school and studying."
"It's true we really thought you were going to try to cancel and study instead tonight," Liz remarks.
"Exactly you would never just skip school because you didn't feel like going. So what made you do it? Why did you skip now?" Liz's questions remind her of how before and even now she's always been the girl who works hard at school and doesn't do this type of thing. It didn't make sense why she felt like it was okay to go with Jack, and it still doesn't make sense now.
"You can tell us," Nichole says and there's more concern in their words now, "Is everything okay? Is it that bad there?"
