"What do you plan to do now that Sky group have cancelled their partnership?" Jude asked. Although he knew that the clues on the contract were favourable to Steam, the company would have a hard time without Sky group backing, especially since Mr Adams and co were dragging the company online.
"I will sell the project to mr Sky," Emily replied. She trusted Jude, so there was no need ro keep the information away from him. After the call from Mr Sky earlier, she realised that she had underestimated ABM. So instead of making a name for the company, she decided to make connections.
"What?" Jude's jaw dropped. The project was supposed to help them gain a foothold; he would never have expected Emily to be willing ro give it away so easily.
"An egg can fix in your mouth," Emily Joked, seeing how Jude lost his composure.
"You can still joke around?" Jude asked with a frown. Although he was a bit embarrassed by his action, he tried his best to hide it.
"Why not?" Emily looked at Jude in confusion.
"That project was supposed to help give us a foothold," Jude felt irritated that she could not remember a piece of simple but essential information.
"What else can we do? Going by ABM's actions, do you think they will let that project see the light of the day?" Emily asked. She could tell Jude was unsatisfied with her decision, so she asked his opinion.
Jude took a deep breath; no matter how he tried to deny it, he realised that she had made a valid point. If ABM has gone as far as fighting the Sky group, they will ensure that the project is buried...
"What we need now is support; although Mr Sky has not agreed to buy project Nabot, given the situation, I am almost certain he would agree. As long as we form a good business relationship with Sky group, our products would have a better lunch in Kay country's market. This is a gain for us," Emily explained, seeing that Jude had calmed down.
"Not bad," Jude felt relief as long as Emily had a clear goal why she made a specific decision; Jude was happy. To him, this is a sign that she is growing.

"I did nothing, sir," Emily was shocked by his reaction. She knew that asking him to confess the secret was a difficult choice; after all, his enemies might try to change the truth.
"Samuel will contact you about the contract," Mr Sky said and hung up without waiting for Emily to answer. Emily was surprised by his reaction. She was only taking advantage of the situation, so she did not expect him to be grateful to her.
"What did he say?" Jude could not make a conclusion from her facial expression.
"He called to thank me," Emily frowned in confusion.
"is he buying the project?" Jude asked, not getting the answer he wanted.
"I don't know; he said Samuel would contact me," Emily replied.
"let's wait for him," Jude nodded her head.
