Chapter 6 - Where she belong.

"...destiny has a twist for you two. One of you live and the other dies.... You both cant live together and you cant die together..... You two are going through the same fate, your destiny are the same. It can't be, one most live, the other dies. It is your choice to make..... Only the one with a pure heart goes back to her normal life."

"One of you must die." A voice said.

Satiah woke up with a start and gasped. Those words were the words of the strange man. She was with Satiah. The invisible man told her that she was going back to her normal life but why was she here? What happened to her? Did a mistake occur when she was going back to her real self?

"Princess?" the maiden called. Satiah blinked severally before she looked at the young maiden who looked worried.

She sat up hastily, "This can't be? I.... replaced..... I replaced Satiah?" she asked finally realizing what happened to her. "There is a big possibility that my body rejected my soul and since it can't roam about so freely, it went into this body?" she looked at the young maiden. "Right?"

"Right?" the maiden asked with a raised brow.

"She is saying strange words. Since when did this started?" the physician who was there to check her asked. Satiah turned to his direction and realized he have been in the room along with the older woman.

"You are the doctor right?" she asked pointing at him.

"Do....doc...." he looked at the older woman. "What is a doc?"

"Doc...." Satiah hit her forehead in realization. "You don't know the word yet..... But you were the one who treated her.... I mean, me right?"

"Ye...yes." he shuttered.

"Good, then you must have an explanation for this... I should be Marie not Satiah. What happened to my soul and hers? Why am I here? I need an answer."

The older woman placed her hand on her chest as if in pains. Her eyes were filled with tears.

She clenched onto the table beside her, "She keep saying strange words. Something is wrong with my daughter."

"Mother?" Marie called with a worried look.

Realizing what she called her, she gasped and covered her mouth with her palm. She just called the older woman mother. Her real mother is in the twenty first century. Why was she so worried when she saw her like that?

The man who she saw earlier in a different room, walked in briskly with his hands behind his back and his lips protruded, along with two young men behind him. He stood in front of the bed and observed Satiah for a while.

Satiah with a confused look, looked at him from his head to his feet and couldn't help but giggled. He still had the white skirt on and was topless.

She quickly covered her mouth so she wouldn't laugh out loud, and looked away.

"I see she is awake now." he said in a serious tone.

"Yes my lord." the older woman replied with her head bowed.

He looked at the physician, "Any problem?"

"Yes chief, there is a problem."

"What is it?" he asked.

"Chief, the poison haven't left her system completely yet and that is why she have been saying strange words. The poison must have affected her thinking."

"But do something. You are a physician, do something." the older woman said.

"That's enough Semat... You shouldn't cry seeing the cause of your softness for this girl. She felt she could just take poison whenever she want. Now she is about to destroy a lot of things for me." he raised his voice.

"How could you say that my lord? She is our daughter."

"Your daughter who is shameless." he said.

"But she almost died." the older woman, Semat said with her head bowed.

He walked closer to Satiah ignoring his wife.

"The royal family will be visiting this night, make sure you get prepared for it. And I don't want you looking sick in front of them." he said glaring at her, in a serious tone. "I hope you understand." he looked at her one last time before he left. The physician went after him.

Satiah felt her chest tightened. The real Satiah life was just like hers, her father was so uncaring like hers. All they care about is their names.

"Don't mind your father." Semat said touching her cheeks gently. Satiah did not realize that she was now sitting close to her until she touched her cheeks. "I will be back." she stood up and left.

Satiah looked at the maiden who have been kneeling beside her bed with her head bowed, "Why is that man rude? Have he always been like that?"

"That man? He is your father. And that is how he is."

"ohhhh..... just like my own father." she looked at the maiden. "What is your name?"

"You don't know my name?"

"I do but after taking in that poison, I think I must have forgotten a lot of names." she replied scratching her nose.

"ohhh you are right.... I am Herneith."

"A sweet name." she leaned to the maiden who moved back surprised at the way the princess was staring at her so closely.

She laughed nervously and looked away. "Is there something wrong princess?"

Satiah placed her hand on her shoulder and nodded her head. "Yes there is, there are so many wrong things happening right now and I will need answers... do you know a place I can get my answers? Apparently there are no libraries or internet here but there must be someone or somewhere."

Herneith looked up confused at the words Satiah spoke but looked down and nodded, "Everyone know the cave sorcerer who knows everything, but she is dangerous." she stood up and bowed, "You should rest now princess, you are still weak and shouldn't move about. We were all scared you were dead for real and the physician said you still have some poison in your system. Please rest now before the royals get here." she said.

Satiah rolled her eyes and sat straight, "I have to get my answers, resting is not for me right now. Besides I am strong and healthy." she said not feeling anymore pain in her body again. She looked at the girl who still remained in her position and sighed loudly. "I don't need a rest right now, ya know."

"That is the order of the mistress and the physician. They know what is best for you."

Satiah bit her lower lips and fell back on the bed in frustration, wishing she could just disappear from the room. She needs to find her way out of Egypt and back to her normal life. She needs to visit that cave sorcerer.

Herneith covered her properly and left the room. Immediately she did, Marie quickly rushed to the door and peeped outside. When she was sure there was no one there, she left the room. Moving forward without looking straight, she bumped forcefully into someone which made her fell.

"Ouch!!!" she cried out.

"Satiah?"

She looked up and her eyes widened. Standing in front of her was a guy who had the face of an angel. He had a long straight shoulder length black hair and he was brown-eyed.

He helped her up and dusted her cloth. "What are you doing here all by yourself?" he asked looking around.

"Saying sorry would have been better instead." She wondered how rude he was to make her fall to the ground and not feel sorry for it.

"Accept my apologies. But you should be in bed since you just woke up."

Satiah rolled her eyes at him, cursing at her luck for bumping into someone who is about to stop her. "I have something important to do." she replied and looked at him."Who are you?"

He looked at her shocked. "Me?"

"Yes of course."

"You don't know me?" He asked getting serious. "Are you sure you are alright now?"

"Yes I am. Thanks for the obvious question." she replied. "I just asked because the poison did a lot of damages to my brain so I forgot a lot of things and people."

He laughed. "Its me, Aaru, your best friend."

"Oh.....yeah."

"So where are you going to and what is that important thing you want to do?"

"Armmm...nothing. I will be going back to my room to get a good nap." she winked at him and left him standing there. She hoped he will also leave her alone so she can leave. She have to find a way back to the twenty first century where she belong.

Aaru stared at his best friend as she left with a smile which was unlike her. Seeing her for the first time after she woke up feels different. Maybe it's because he haven't seen her for days and that's why she looks different to him.

He shrugged and went after her.
