Chapter 13 - Helpless

"SS gang?" Angga frowned confused. "Screenshot, isn't it?" he continued, arrogantly.

"Ha? Hahaha. Oh yes, yes, SS can be interpreted as a screenshot too. Hihi, gosh I just thought of that, you know."

"Well, isn't it?"

"Heh, no. My group name. The guys who were standing in the campus parking lot, when you came."

For a moment, Angga recalled the moment and it didn't take him long to remember the moment.

"Ohhhh… yes, I remember. Why do they even make you laugh out loud like that? I'm corious, hehe."

"Insecure when They saw you came with an Audi, hahaha."

"Oh, are you insecure or not?"

"What for?" instead of answering, Lia even asked back which instantly made Angga smile. To him, the girl's response was enough to answer the question he was asking.

"I want to be friends. As long as the guy said to be good, want to bring a BMW, Ferrari, or even carousels… it doesn't matter, Ngga. And again, why should you be insecure or inferior? We're equal," answered Lia wisely, smiling.

"I like the thought," said Angga with proud eyes.

"Okay. This is all, right? I'll be there in a minute," said the girl after seeing that they finished choosing to order food. Then, Lia got up from her seat and walked towards the cashier to hand over the menu list they ordered.

"Oh Angga Vanilla Latte, I want it too. But… just short macchiato looks good." She mumbled softly. And upon arrival at the cashier, Lia immediately ordered the desired drink.

The cashier who was on duty, apparently understood Lia because she often came to the coffee shop with her friends. Friendly, he invited Lia to talk for a while writing and processing the girl's order.

Lia, who incidentally is a friendly and easy-going girl, of course, welcomed the talk with enthusiasm. She respectfully introduced herself.

While they were busy talking, the door of the Coffee Shop opened and made the tinkling sound of the small bells placed above it. As a marker if there are customers who come.

Lia turned towards the door, then unexpectedly, her net collided with the figure she wanted to stay away from. The stare only lasted a few seconds, because almost simultaneously both of them turned their attention to avoid each other.

"Thank you, Sis," Lia said kindly, then prepared to return to her seat.

Lia's footsteps suddenly stopped when she passed the corner of her eye, she saw that Ana was about to come back out of the Coffee Shop but didn't do it because someone was blocking her.

Curious, Lia finally turned her head so she could see what was going on. Ana collided with a man. After a moment of observation, it seemed that they knew each other well.

They talked for a while, then Ana's gaze turned to Lia. But her eyes looked frightened. Even her face turned pale. However, because Lia felt that it was not important, she decided to return to her seat.

"Why, Lia? Why your face so wrinkled?" asked Angga surprised.

"After passing by Aunt Kun," Lia answered awkwardly, then sat back in her chair.

"Aunt Kun?"

"Yes. Kuntilanak, Ngga. Alright, no need to talk about it. You know, the Vanilla Latte here is delicious." Lia immediately changed the subject.

"Lia, seriously. Why is it scary when there is a female ghost dressed in white here?"

"Hehe, just a nickname. There's no female ghost dressed in white. Oh, what were we talking about?"

"Lia, answer me first. Are you an indigo child?"

"Indihome, hihi. No, no, just kidding, Ngga. Don't worry about it," said Lia with a crisp laugh, which succeeded in making Angga pursed his lips.

For a while, the two of them were silent and enjoyed the drinks and snacks that had been ordered. Then, the sound of an incoming message notification from Angga's cellphone broke the silence between them.

The message came from Evan. He said that he had arrived at the location with the girl he said was named Lia. Angga also replied to the message and asked Evan to buy some time, while having a talk with the girl until later he gave further instructions.

Meanwhile, Angga deliberately told Evan that the girl Lia he had invited to meet had not yet arrived. This was deliberately done so that Angga had enough time to tell the girl what he was planning.

"Lia?"

"Hmmm?"

"I want to tell you a little bit about Evan."

"Oh, the pollen allergy, huh? It's okay, just tell me."

Angga nodded in approval. Then after getting permission, he told in detail about Evan, who said he had met a girl named Lia. However, it turns out that the story has a lot of inconsistencies. Because according to Angga, this does not make sense at all.

"At that time, we accidentally met again at the mini-market. Do you remember?"

"Yes, Ngga. Do you still remember, it was only yesterday?"

"Well, Evan said that the girl, whose name he said was Lia, had never met me before. She said, that night she did go to the mini market, but she didn't meet me. Weird, right? At home, Evan was angry with me. He said I lied to him. This is the first oddity." With a bit of annoyance, Angga returned to tell more fully.

Lia frowned in confusion. If that's true, that means someone is using his identity, right?

"Then how about it, Ngga?"

"Well, this is the strangest thing. When I had breakfast with you in front of the campus, Evan said he was meeting the girl whose name was Lia. They talked together while eating ice… what kind of ice was that, I forgot. Anyway, Evan insists that he meets a girl whose name is Lia. Because of that, I was branded a liar and coveted him. Weird, right? That means, there is another girl who claims to be you, Lia. Isn't that right?"

Lia did not immediately respond to the long explanation that Angga had given. For a moment, she digested all the information while thinking about someone who seemed to be disguised as herself.

If the perpetrator dares to act like that, there is a possibility that she is someone Lia knows or even knows her. But who?

When her mind was busy figuring out and trying to compile the possibilities based on Angga's story, the young man opened his voice again.

"Therefore, I invite you to meet up, Lia. First, let Evan believe that you are Lia—the girl who accompanies and gives him a handkerchief when he sneezes exists. Then, let him believe that we have also met at the minimarket with your brother. And what's more important than that, is so that we can find out who the girl who claims to be you."

Angga stopped talking for a moment, then took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. Then, he resumed his speech.

"Come to think of it, she was trying to disguise herself so you mean there are two possibilities…."

"First, she knows me. Or …. Maybe I even know her," added Lia quickly before Angga finished speaking.

"Excactly!!!" said Angga half shouting while pointing his index finger up, as a form of agreement with what Lia said.

"So, what should we do? I'm ready to help you." Excitedly, Lia immediately offered herself.

"Thank you for your willingness, Lia. Because it is really necessary. Evan and I did have a plan, but… I guess this plan had to change because of those two possibilities." That's the response of Angga.

"Hmm… I see. But, may I know what your plans are? Maybe I can give you some suggestion."

Finally, Angga told Lia that Evan also asked to meet the girl who claimed to be Lia at the Café. And the two of them had also arrived, a few moments after Angga and Lia arrived.

"So, the girl is already here with Evan?" asked Lia curiously.

"Yes. They said they were here. But, just now Evan said that the girl wants to find another place."

"Hmmm… I think Evan can take the girl or not?

"Or should we just get them?"

"Eh… it can't be. It's not like that. By the possibility that we were thinking about, I also have to know first what kind of girl. Maybe I know, don't you?" with a little force, Lia persisted with the idea.

"Eh, that's right."

Then Angga sent a message to Evan, to take pictures of the girl who claimed to be named Lia secretly.

At first, Evan refused to do that. Because for him it was difficult because the girl kept staring at him. But Angga kept trying to convince Evan to find the right moment so he could take picture of the girl secretly.

Until a few moments later, an incoming message notification from Angga's cellphone was heard again. Evan managed to take pictures of the girl and send some photos to Angga ...

"Lia, look. Evan already sent the photo!" cried Angga half-screaming, then he moved to a sitting position next to Lia so that it was easier for the girl to see the photo she showed.

Lia grabbed Angga's cellphone, then looked at and observed the photo of the girl that appeared on the screen for a moment. It didn't take long for Lia to recognize the girl. Her breath was held for a moment because she couldn't believe it was Ana who did all this. Moreover, by being impolite, she had used her identity without permission to deceive others. Outrageous!

Lia returned the cellphone to Angga, then asked him not to delete the evidence. Without thinking any further, Lia finally told Angga who was in the photo. In short, she also explained who Ana was. Including, a little story about what the girl had done to him.

After receiving this information, Angga sent a message to Evan and briefly explained via chat about the identity of the girl in front of him. Angga said that the information was obtained from the real Lia, who knew the girl who claimed to be named Lia.

To further convince Evan, Angga sent a selfie of himself and Lia to make Evan more confident. And it was hot and cold throughout Evan's body, when he found out the real truth, that what was in front of him was someone who used Lia's identity without permission, aka a fraud.
