Chapter 12 - An Appointment

Spontaneously, the screams echoed by Angga immediately made Lia rub her forehead in frustration. The presence of the young man by driving a luxury car alone has invited a lot of people's attention. And now, he even added to the excitement by shouting his name while waving his hand. Until it was unavoidable, instantly people's attention turned to Lia.

'Why is it so tacky to use calling everything?' Lia complained in her heart, still massaging her forehead.

"Guys, it's normal to see it. It's terrible, you know?!" protested the girl, when she realized that her four best friends were looking at her in unison with eyes full of demands for explanation.

"Lia, you have to explain to us. How can you not tell us if you want to meet super handsome guys? And fix, he's rich!" said Amanda, trying to keep her voice from screaming with excitement.

"Listen, it's not what you think. I also don't know if he will come here. The appointment was at Seteras Café. I'm a friend. He asked me to meet him, to talk. Don't makeup rumors. OK, it's clear. I'll go first," explained Lia at length, then immediately she walked away to leave her friends who were still gaping at the explanation.

Amanda was about to chase Lia, but Bobby held her arm. "Do not mind it. Later, Lia will also tell the story," he said wisely.

In the end, they only saw Lia walking closer to the waiting black luxury Audi. For a moment the girl turned around, then waved goodbye to her friends.

"I swear, isn't that guy handsome??!" Amanda asked Bobby and Riyan enthusiastically. But unfortunately, the two young men had already walked towards their respective vehicles after returning a wave from Lia.

The arrival of Angga, who was driving a luxury Audi car, had succeeded in making Bobby and Riyan shrivel up. Their spirits suddenly collapsed because of a sudden sense of inferiority that appeared in the minds of both of them.

"Hey!! You guys, why did you even run away!!" shouted Amanda while taking turns approaching Bobby and Riyan who looked lethargic.

"Man, we're not hanging out, okay? I just want to go home," said Riyan while wearing his helmet.

"Yeah, how come it's canceled, Yan?? Bobby?" Amanda asked annoyed, her lips pursed sharply.

"I told you earlier that I was told to go home with my mother."

"Woah, what's wrong with you guys?! That's fine." Annoyed, Amanda yanked her feet to the ground. Then, decided to approach the motor itself.

---

When Lia walked closer to Angga, the young man was immediately seen getting out of the car to greet him.

"You shouldn't have picked me up. I told you that we would meet at the location," said Lia flatly without being able to hide her annoyance.

"Ohhh, sorry. Eh, that's all, right," answered Angga, becoming awkward when he looked into Lia's eyes, which looked annoyed.

"Don't you know? Be the center of attention, you know," whispered Lia softly. But at the same time, a smile appeared on her lips which instantly warmed Angga's heart.

Angga was worried that Lia was really angry and would cancel their agreed plan.

"Ehehe, I thought… you would be angry, Lia."

"A little, but it's okay, it's okay. Yes, how else. You're already here, can I tell you to leave? Hihihi."

Angga scratched the back of his head that didn't itch while grinning broadly like a horse. Not to forget, he apologized to the girl for not telling him beforehand if he wanted to come. After talking for a while, they agreed to go to Seteras Café right away.

"Erm… those were your friends earlier?" asked Angga while driving.

"Yes. Scratch friends. Fix, tomorrow I will be interrogated with various kinds of them, hehehe."

"Wow, because of my arrival earlier?" asked Angga a little panicked.

"What about trying? But don't worry, they are. It's great if I have an appointment with a male friend. Because it's very rare. I mean, a rare moment, hehe ..." explained Lia while holding back a laugh.

"Uh, rarely? I mean... you've never been picked up by a guy or gone out with a guy, right??" asked Angga with a look of wonder that could not be hidden.

"Yeah, not yet. Where did it go wrong, right? That's normal. Don't get excited ahaha ..." Lia responded casually, while Angga couldn't help but smile to cover his surprise.

This was the first time he had met a girl who had never been picked up by a man before. For Angga, this is something unusual.

"Emmm… then, haven't… never eh I mean, have a boyfriend?" Angga asked, stammering a little, worried that his question would offend Lia.

"Oh, not yet hehe. Well, how about that, right, there's nothing that fits, Ngga." Still casually, Lia answered that which was answered by an understanding nod from Angga.

Again, he was surprised by Lia's confession that she had never dated or even dated anyone in this increasingly modern era.

Angga running out of words. Presumably, his mind had to hang because he still couldn't believe what he heard. Understandably, he lives in the Capital where almost every woman has dated or been in love with the opposite sex. Maybe there is a girl like Lia in her environment, but in fact, Angga has never had any luck with meeting her before.

---

"Well, after this, turn right," said Lia giving directions which immediately broke Angga's thoughts.

"Oh okay."

Not long after, they arrived at the parking lot of Seteras Coffe Shop—a place recommended by Lia, when Angga asked her for her opinion on a place to hang out. The location is a bit far from Lia's campus.

The two of them entered the Café and were immediately greeted by the delicious aroma of coffee. Angga is not a coffee maniac, but he can enjoy the drink. Likewise with Lia, who also likes the drink.

Angga smiled while giving Lia two thumbs up, as a sign that he was compatible with the Coffee Shop recommended to him.

"Thanks. We'll sit there," said Lia, walking towards one of her favorite tables when she came to that place with her friends.

"Wow, it seems you often come here," said Angga when he saw Lia's movements, which did look familiar with the place.

"Yes, together with my friends usually," answered Lia, then sat on the chair that had been chosen. Followed by Angga who also sat directly opposite her.

"What about a boyfriend?" as if aware of what was said, a second later Angga immediately corrected his words. "Oh sorry, Lia. Hehehe I mean you often come here with friends. Oh, I see?"

"Yes, Ngga. Yes, I usually hang out here. My best friend is a coffee lover and of the many places in this area, well ... here is the most comfortable one and the coffee has many variants to choose from and it's delicious. It's also conducive to working together. Unless one of us throws a crying hard, hehe." Lia explained at length to Angga.

"Wow, that's cool. Oh, I think that we haven't ordered anything yet."

"It's okay, after this we ordered. The important thing is to sit down first. If not, the place will be taken by someone else. This is a list of the menu for coffee, snacks, or if you want to eat. Please choose, later I will bring it to the front." Lia took the menu list sheet that was already available on the table.

While waiting for Angga to choose the menu, Lia took out her cellphone which was in her pocket. Because it kept vibrating and succeeded in making her curious.

Lia thought that the incoming notification was an important message or call from someone at home. But apparently, it all came from the SS Gang Chat Group, which stands for the Happy Success Gang. It's like a bouquet, isn't it?

Lia reads the chat from top to bottom. The three friends were making a fuss because Bobby and Riyan suddenly seemed to change their attitude when they saw Angga and his Audi suddenly land in front of them. Because it seems, that's what has made the two boys mentally collapse.

Amanda; with all his might and passionately, tried to encourage them not to turn sluggish. Because one day they will become successful people like their gang name too. After all, they don't know who Angga is. He even hilariously said that if he could, the luxury car was just a rental vehicle.

Then Amanda repeatedly called Lia's name and made mentions in every chat that Amanda sent. It was as if the girl was asking for accountability for Angga's arrival, which had brought Bobby and Riyan down.

Suddenly, Lia couldn't hold back her laughter anymore. Unable to hold back any longer, she giggled while covering her mouth.

"Oath! It's not very clear. Hihihi."

Angga, who was busy choosing the menu, suddenly turned his attention to Lia. For a moment, he looked at the girl who was laughing to herself while staring at her cellphone. Then without realizing it himself, a faint smile was painted on Angga's lips. After that, he decided to go back to reading the menu while pretending not to see such a thrilling sight.

"Hihihi, you bastard gang!" said Lia, then accompanied by a crisp laugh that she couldn't contain anymore.

"Lia, what is it? Feels fun?" asked Angga while handing the menu book to the girl.

"SS Gang. It's just making me laugh out loud," said Lia with a sparkling face, then accepted the menu book.
