When Davis heard footsteps approaching Petra's door, he decided to hide by the corner so that he wouldn't be seen as eavesdropping.
He had heard Lewis and Petra having an intense conversation, and thus, he needed to know what it was all about.
"C'mon, Petra," Lewis called in pain. "Don't resign; if you do, then I'll do the same."
