Markus stepped aside when Matthew strode in angrily to the traveler's lounge where they were waiting for Lilly's flight back home. When he saw the pain in Lilly's eyes, he knew something was wrong. Hence, he did what she asked him but he sent a message to William, letting him know what had happened.
He didn't want Matthew to kill him, which is possible to happen any minute now.
"Yo!" He greeted Matthew who simply glanced at him before he stared at his wife, broodingly.
Lilly wasn't saying anything. Nor did she react when Matthew suddenly appeared at the airport, looking utterly haggard and confused.
The lapel of his suit was skewed and his necktie seemed to be tied in a hurry. Matthew must be in the middle of an important task for he has a habit of taking off his tie when he's deep at work in the office.
"When did you arrive?" He asked Lilly who was keeping her lips in a tight line.
