"How many times are you going to ask me about your wife?"
Markus snarled at Matthew who had been following him like an annoying puppy. He had reported at work, thinking that Matthew needed him for some emergency take over and yet, here they were.
Matthew had been interrogating Markus nonstop since he arrived. It was cute and funny at first, but then, he won't stop questioning him about what happened when he picked up Lilly. Even after he explained everything that happened—from what he knew, Matthew wasn't happy with his answer.
"Bro, if something happened between the two of you, don't put it with me. I didn't do anything with Lilly."
Matthew narrowed his eyes on Markus. "Have you called her?"
