"Goodnight."
Matthew passed by Lilly who was curled up in the armchair under the window, next to their bed, reading a book.
The time is quarter to twelve. The dinner was fun after they got over the awkwardness of Sajeed's joke.
Lilly enjoyed herself, not just with the beautiful night view of the desert but as well as the delicious food that their host daughter prepared for them. If he doesn't receive a call from his secretary about some business matters, they won't leave yet.
Lilly looked up from her book up that had been pulled to half her face, hiding the grin that she could not help because Matthew was wearing light blue shorts and a white shirt when he came out of the shower, rubbing his damp hair with the white hotel towel. He looks so damn good.
"Goodnight," she replied. That sounded like a question with how her voice rose up because Matthew didn't look like he was going to bed.
Matthew smiled a little. "I have to work."
