"What do you mean nothing happened?"
Lilly sighed with regret. She should have refrained herself from calling Tiffany. She knew this would happen and yet she still called her.
'There is no one to call,' she told herself.
"Just like what I told you. That's all that happened which was nothing. Nada. Zilch," she groaned, gathering all the sticky notes that Noah had left in the food tray.
The notes basically were telling her to eat on time and some had a hint of apology, or she assumed. She was assuming that Matthew cared about her even though when she woke up, he was gone.
He ordered some breakfast and coffee made for her. He even left some notes even though the wording of his notes sounded bland. But at least, he made an effort to write down his thoughts.
