Chapter 17 - The Dice and Wet Pants

The atmosphere in the greenhouse was stiff; the only sound could be heard of utensils clashing with each other.

[Klaang… Klang] and the smell of sweet food.

The people looked with disdain.

The noble voice broke the silence at the guest table, "Duchess Margaretha, won't you feel uncomfortable if we transact with Duke Leon here?" he asked.

"Of course not, Viscount Igor." Duchess Margaretha replied as she drank tea quietly, trying to contain her expression.

His golden teeth shone as he smiled at Duchess Margaretha's unusual response, while the organizers did not know the purpose of coming to their residence.

The maid in charge of passing orders to the family head was frightened; while walking behind him, he muttered, "Isn't he afraid of death? From his appearance alone, it can be seen that he is in the border area, must be very close to going in and out as a traitor." Many times he justifies the clothes he wears because he feels uncomfortable.

After waiting for a while, Duke Leon came with the maid who had summoned him to find him still wearing a golden green hooded robe showing that he was busy conducting experiments and creating magic spells.

"Money is coming." Mind the aristocrat.

Viscount Igor's arrival disturbed Duke Leon, but he couldn't refuse. Considering the maid who called him said it was a significant negotiation, he couldn't refuse.

The immense pressure shrunk the pride of the shameless man after seeing and confronting such a great magician directly; his arrogance vanished.

"Patience, for the sake of a promising exchange, after this, I will get deserve. Gambling and having fun," he thought again.

Mrs. Philia was sitting with him, also stood up, out of her greed and desire to seek Viscount Igor's face, did not waste this opportunity to take advantage.

"What brought you here?" asked Duke Leon curiously.

The female guests at the tea party banquet started whispering.

Duke Leon's gaze, which looked down on his generosity, broke the words he had prepared earlier.

[gloup]

"I came here to offer a good deal with the great Duke Leon," replied Viscount Igor in a trembling voice.

Hearing a frightened voice, the woman elbowed his body to finish this negotiation quickly and walked out of the Moore family residence.

"I already told Duchess Margaretta to move the guests to a more comfortable place because this conversation would be unpleasant."

"Because I'm afraid there will be incidents that are not good if many people are watching," said Viscount Igor, glancing at Duchess Margaretta.

His gaze made Duke Leon's wife feel displeased; the husband looked at his wife, feeling sorry for being toyed with him and had no manners.

Ordering all the guests to change places, the waiters rushed to take the guests to another room.

"What a hassle," whispered one of the guests.

After removing everyone at the banquet, Viscount Igor ordered Mrs. Philia to bring Dareen as planned.

"Great Duke Leon, we wish to make an exchange this time for something of value,"

"I found him while being held prisoner by bandits from the desert." He said, playing with both hands.

"Okay, what do you want?" asked Duke Leon sternly.

"I want a mountain of gold equivalent to the price of the mansion and its contents," replied Viscount Igor with a jealous look.

"Okay." replied quickly.

"Shit! You underestimated me because you were born a great person in the kingdom, and you immediately agreed to it even though you didn't know that your son was now my prisoner."

"I could have sold him on the slave market, considering they said this kid could turn himself into someone else; people would think I was a liar." Say it in mind.

(*note: Sultan :)

Viscount Igor thought that Duke Leon would weigh up such a huge offer. However, it was so easy to accept the price, he said. Annoyance enveloped him because that person had dropped his self-respect and only asked for gold for the price of a large mansion.

"Sorry, mispronounced, I meant the price of two big mansions," he said, hastily correcting his words.

Listening to the wishy-washy words that came out of his mouth made Duke Leon raise his right hand, which suddenly emitted a light blue flame; from there, it took out a chain, extending towards the floor rapidly under the feet of the summoner.

[Kraaag….klaaaagg…srrruggg]

The chains formed a magic circle pattern, right under Viscount Igor's body, shackled his legs and arms. Around him were floating ten daggers covered in Mana and flowing poison.

It happened so fast that it made him unable to avoid the fury of Duke Leon's attack at that moment, even to move his body. The owner of that terrifying power walked up to him, still holding the blue embers in his hands.

"I hate someone greedy and doesn't know how to thank you." While holding back his anger.

Viscount Igor was terrified as people walked up to him.

[Syuuut] the blazing object turned into a sharp rock crystal, held tightly, desiring the bottom on the chin, preparing to stab him.

"If you think you can survive with my soldiers, you're right! But you forgot who their master is," added Duke Leon.

Mrs. Philia, who had just arrived with two bodyguards, took Dareen by surprise.

"Aaah!" see the situation there.

Their bodyguards preparing to save him, ran over while releasing their swords to attack Duke Leon; there were frightened faces on both of them.

"Wait there!" He ordered his guards not to do anything.

His hand directed them to let go and gave Dareen.

[Bruuugh] One of the soldiers pushed him hard; Mrs. Philia was startled and fell to the ground.

He was in a weak position, not daring to look at his father.

After feeling that he was done with Viscount Igor's business, Duke Leon understood the meaning of his negotiation; he released the Mana chains and weapons. Viscount Igor finally bowed to the ground and then crawled towards his woman and the bodyguards.

His father saw Dareen tied with an iron bracelet containing the beads, immediately releasing the crystal stone still in hand, splitting into several pieces coated by Mana shot, piercing towards the dot.

[Tak…take…tak]

He was destroying them without residue, leaving the ordinary metal bracelets easy to break free with a bit of help from his Mana that gradually returned.

Duke Leon walked up, hugging Mrs. Philia, both shaking violently. The soldiers on guard were shrunk with a terrifying killing aura by the casual walkers; they stood in an attacking stance yet, silent as statues.

He grabbed his hand, moving inside the cloak; seeing such actions, Viscount Igor was scared to death, making him pee in his pants.

"Hiiii!" he exclaimed. Duke Leon saw the wet marks, and he just smiled. He took out a thick magenta crystal necklace in the shape of a center dice and gave it to him.

"It looks like an ordinary Sapphire stone; the diced is a scarce collectible and can only be found in Belize, the great blue hole; you can buy three mansions with it," he said as he placed the necklace near them.

"Oh…And don't forget to cover Viscount Igor's pants, madam," added Duke Leon while looking in that direction.

Walking away, leaving them, Dareen held his wrist felt stiff, looking at the shameless people scornfully from afar. As he passed his son, he signaled to follow him.

Obediently orders behind. They left. The guests were still busy shivering to fix themselves, staggering aimlessly.

Viscount Igor had the robes of one of the bodyguards removed to cover the wet pants, got into the horse carriage out of Duke Moore's residence, and hoped they would never meet that crazy family again.
