After all, she was Kirti's substitute, Kirti's cover at present. Something that no other assistant had to do, since their bosses remained stuck to this company 24/7.
That's why, despite being many assistants and secretaries in The Raj, Miss Chauhan's place and position is the highest, most revered and most respected, more like an authority in itself.
But everytime they come together for a meal, unless they hear a good scolding from Ashutosh, their eyes won't leave their screen, fearing they might miss on important information. Vivek and Yuvika have returned to their teasing, mocking yet serious nature, where they will crack jokes on each other, pull each other's leg, but when the need arises then help each other complete their works.
It was like nothing changed in between them. Since, she has been super busy so, she hadn't even put the vermillion on her hair, just above the forehead. Thus, except for her henna adorned hands, manicured nails and the mangalsutra she wears hidden from the common eye, she was all professional.
But there's one person who has changed, whose priorities have changed and that person was none other than Ashutosh. Sometimes he finds it hard to think about the task at hand and not at the person standing in front of him, which mostly happens when she hands him a file or needs his consent or opinion on something.

After five days and six nights of hard work, finally they were able to reap as much profit as they could from this rising tide of the market. Now, all that they have to do is wait.
Wait. Wait. Wait and Wait.
Reason; many people who either lack knowledge or whose greed would bind them to wait some more, to let the market rise furthermore, before pulling back their money, would be soon facing a deep loss.
Since, very soon the price value will start decreasing gradually. Then, at that time, they would have a lot of work to do. One among them would be to get engaged with all the businessmen of this city at present, so that if anyone suffering losses would like to sell some of their shares or companies. Then, they would be able to buy it.
After all, this is what business is about. One must know how to strike when the iron is hot, at the right time, with the right amount of pressure and strength. That's what they would be doing. After all, their aim isn't to end up as a mere company.
Nope, that devil wants to build an empire. The Raj. Nationally as well as internationally. That's only possible, if they pull the right string at the right time. But everything comes with a price, so is this dream of theirs. The price is their hard work, their 110% efforts and right use and investment of mind.

People might think it would be an easy job to do. But only the one who does so knows how they have to keep their mind in the right direction, despite losing sleep, hunger, thirst, loss of the sense of it being day or night, loss of touch with family, friends and relatives, loss of contact.
Not to mention the mood swings that come with it. One moment you want someone near you, coaxing you, loving you, while another moment you want to be all alone, letting your mind focus on each and every aspect of the decision you will make.
Sometimes you want to talk and talk. Sometimes you just want to be mute. Sometimes you want to beat the shit out of the punching bag in the gym. Yet at the same time, you don't want to leave the tablet screen in front of you, in the fear of losing something important.
It's like you end up becoming a robot, but at the same time, the things that make you different from robots keep nagging you. People think being rich is easy, being powerful is easy, being able to guess the market is easy.
Unknown to the fact, it takes more than what a person can imagine to gain all of them. Not to mention, people mostly respect you on your faces and despise you behind your back for being rich. Or to be precise, being more rich than them.
Just because you are rich, people expect you to do certain things in certain ways. If you don't do charity, you are too arrogant, if you charitize too much, you are a bragger. If you don't meet common people in public places and temples, you are too aloof, if you meet them often, he just likes to show what he gets.
Every second, every minute a new opinion arises about you, in people's minds. Some good, some bad. A normal girl might get the troublesome periods once a month, but they, they have to go through that every single minute of their life.
Not to mention, there are many delusional fangirls/ fanboys, who believe that they are the perfect ideal type for these people and if these rich businessmen choose them, then they will be able to live a fairytale story full of love and passion with them.
Thus, if a rich person marries a person from a common background, the people from a rich background get upset. But if a rich person marries a rich person, then common people get upset. Not to mention, people don't even mind making these partners of the rich's life a living hell, just because they were lucky enough to gain the person's attention and not the others.
A shitty life. Indeed.

Finally they saw the sun rising, when the last of their project finished. Vivek and Yuvika didn't even think twice, before turning their working chairs into their sleeping bed. After all, who wants to go home at 5 in the morning, only to return back at 8 in the morning.
Ashutosh stared at the duo and sighed. He wanted to tell her to sleep in her room. But as if the girl who was already sleeping uncomfortably in the chair would have listened. Well, that's what a little sleep of two hours that too with lots of worry can do.
He sighed, then nudged her gently so that she would wake up. After all, she would get sore muscles after waking up in that little chair. But as if the sleeping beauty cares about that, at present. Earning another sigh from Ashutosh, who then picked her up gently in a princess style, while trying his best to not to make any noise.
Then, he started making his way out of the cabin, with a light step. But the moment he was near the door, his eyes fell on the little mirror and he froze. He turns around only to see Vivek's half sleepy, half awake, half dull, half curious gaze on him and the person in his arms.
He just motioned Vivek to turn a blind eye and then started wondering how he should open a door. The lazy and half sleepy Vivek got up from his chair and opened the door in an exaggerated ' Here, your majesty' manner and then walked back to sleep in his little tiny chair.
Ah, he was too lazy to walk to his room to sleep. This chair can be his make-shift bed for the moment. Ashutosh just sighed then walked from left wing to right wing of the floor. It took him a hard time to unlock the door and open it. Then, another struggle he has to go through, when he finds the door of her room locked.
Finally he was able to place her in the bed, removing her black pencil heels, covering her with a duvet, then staring at her for a good few minutes. After which, he left her room, while closing the door shut lightly in order to avoid noise.
He went to his room, freshened up and then hit the sack, while thanking that genius mind, who came up with this mini penthouse idea in the building. The room where Yuvika's sleeping used to be his study room, with all the library setup in the background.
The perfect room and atmosphere to gain new knowledge. But since he had promised himself to give her the best. So now his favorite study room, turned into her bedroom. The room gives the perfect dusky lighting throughout the day, making it perfect to study and sleep. While his room, ah it was made under the concept of dawn.
So, unless it's a cloudy dark night, there would never be a perfect atmosphere to sleep, even if he shut all his curtains tight. But luckily his fatigue was overpowering his sleep's sense of lighting. He fell asleep, sooner than expected.
For others it was just another day. But for the employees of The Raj, it was finally the hibernating period. Most of them fall asleep in their chairs, their heads resting on their desks, their body feeling the blissful state of sleep again.
Well, The Raj might look like a cruel, employee exploiting company from this scenario, but it actually wasn't. When other companies pay their employees 10,000- 15,000 rupees per month for their work and abilities. The Raj pays 50,000 rupees as a basic pay to its employees, while the bar just gets higher with the higher position.
