"Who draws first?"
"I will," Mark said, drawing the card from the desk as everyone stared at him waiting for him to say what was written on the card.
"Okay, so this is interesting, my card has Gabby on it and it says I have to ask you anything, so here it goes, marry me," Mark asked looking straight into Gabby's eyes, damn he caught her unaware as everyone's mouth dropped wide open.
The situation at hand seemed like a game, but Meredith couldn't shake off the feeling that she might get caught up in it. All eyes were on Gabby as she contemplated Mark's proposal.
With a quick glance at his expectant face, Gabby knew that saying no was not an option. Although she loved him dearly, marriage was a big step, especially since they had been engaged before.
The tension in the room was palpable as everyone waited for her answer. Finally, with a loud and resounding "yes," Gabby broke the anticipated silence.
