Chapter 36 - Mr. Hartono's Daughter

After Putri left Andi's house, Maria had already stood by folding her hands together, looking forward to explaining the arranged marriage she didn't know about earlier.

"So here, I'm matched with my dad with Putri. Yesterday it was our first meeting. But, it was all beyond my expectation. My dad said I had to meet his client. When I got there knew there was Putri. Putri is the daughter of my dad's client in question earlier. But, the goal is none other than to bring me together with her," explained Andi.

"So?" asked Maria.

"Trust me, I've often met her. But, somehow my dad framed me to meet her in any ways."

"Ok, so what about Siska? If I look at it, this girl is aggressive, Ndi. Danger. If Siska knew, she might not be angry immediately, but she would be inferior because again she felt less for you and was disappointed with herself."

"yes, that's also what I think. I don't understand that girl, I was shocked last night she knew it came."

"Can you not talk well with your dad?"

"The plan is, that's it. Hopefully he agrees. Because, to be honest, I'm not sure what I'm talking about."

Mary understood something. Chances are, Andi has a personal problem with his dad. Andi is a mature man who doesn't deserve to be matched. However, it seems that this is related to his family business which caused this arranged marriage.

"Mar, please. Don't tell Siska about this. I'm afraid she's thinking negative way about me."

"Nope, I'm not going to say. But, I hope you quickly find a way to solve this problem. Because gradually, Siska will definitely know too," Maria retorted.

Maria returned home to her residence. Andi, who is very sleep-deprived today, resumed her sleep to relieve sleepiness.

Three hours passed Andi woke up from his sleep because he heard his Cellphone sound.

"Andi, how about Putri? Isn't she beautiful?" His dad called.

"Hmm ... yeah," replied Andi.

"I hope your relationship continues all the way to the wedding. Ah, not expecting. But, it has to be until marriage! I has promised Mr. Hartono to marry you off."

"Dad, can't you discuss this matter yet? I'm tired of all of this. After all, now that Andi has to work, there is no thought in that direction."

A frantic mind and a lack of rest are perfect emotions. So why is the love story this bad? First, it was flatly rejected by his best friend. Second, being matched with an unsuitable woman. Third, Andi racked his brains, looking for ways to get his father to change his mind. However, with the long distance between the two, convincing him was difficult.

'Babe, today I'm scheduled to see a doctor.' A short message from Siska.

Because of Putri, Andi almost forgot the schedule for Siska's examination. So he also rushed to pick her up on the spot.

Andi continued his activities to accompany Siska. Luckily, Siska's health is getting better. She may be able to get back to work sooner if her development continues to improve.

"Thank goodness you're healthy again, Babe," Andi said as he rubbed his lover's hair.

When he was about to return home, in the hospital hallway, Andi ran into the woman he recognized. It feels like it was only yesterday that he met her and now meet again.

'Putri?! What's she doing here?!' Andi muttered silently inwardly.

The girl he met yesterday seemed different from what he now sees. At that time, she wore a doctor's suit and maroon-colored glasses. Andi then lowered his head, pretending not to see. But, not as expected, it turns out that Putri knew that the man who tried to cover his face by looking down was Andi. She then greeted him, and Andi couldn't do anything but answer her.

"Andi? What's up here?" she asked.

"Ah, uh, checking up my girl's health. Get to know, this is Siska, Babe, this is Putri," Andi said awkwardly.

"Oh, I'm Putri."

Siska and the Princess shook hands. The two gave each other friendly smiles. Still, with fear, Andi hopes this woman will leave him and Siska without saying about his arranged marriage.

"Put, I walked first, ok?"

Andi also rushed to leave Putri. Siska was a little confused by Andi's unusual attitude.

"Andi!" Putri shouted from a distance.

Andi turned her head anxiously, hoping that what he was afraid of didn't happen.

Dad said, tomorrow, ask to be escorted to your dad's subscription shoe store. Then, later, let me know, huh? Bye."

Having not had time to retaliate, Putri had already gone to turn her body.

"Who is she?" asked Siska.

"She's the daughter of my dad's co-worker."

Without any suspicion, Siska felt that Andi's explanation was clear enough. But, unlike Andi, she still feels uneasy about Putri's words.

The next day, Andi prepares to do his activities. Usually, the controls the progress of the new branch of his family's company. When he was about to leave the house and open the door, how surprised Andi was to see Putri with a man whose face was identical to that of the woman. The man was wearing a gray shirt suit with a very authoritative bearing.

"Mr. Hartono? Putri?" Andi said stammeringly.

"Are you ready, Ndi? Come on, go now," Putri retorted.

"Andi wants to go to the office first, Mr," Andi explained.

"Oh, I see. Putri said, she has already contacted you and she said you are ready. So, deliberately om here all pass by."

'Contacting me? Since when? He didn't even know my number!' she said, furious. Andi looked at the Putri sarcastically. This girl is so cunning! He thought Putri was a pretty good person to be invited to cooperate. You know, the silence of Putri when she met Siska yesterday and did not tell the incident that night to her father. She deliberately did it to make Andi seem to owe Putri a favor.

Mr. Hartono smiled, nodding his head. Reluctant to refuse, Andi then followed the wishes of his father's co-worker. Along the way, Andi kept quiet while driving the Putri's car. But unfortunately, his current job has been forced to be postponed due to the actions of the cunning woman.

They finally arrived at the shoe store they were going to. The Princess's father looked around and sorted out which shoes matched him. Putri and Andi accompanied him from behind. With slow steps, the Putri brought herself closer to Andi.

"So, that's your girlfriend?" Putri whispered, tilting her head.

"Yes."

"It's ok, too. Baby."

Andi stopped her footsteps and looked resentfully at the Putri without saying anything. Seeing that, the Putri gave a sinless grinning smile.

"So, you're a doctor?" he asked.

"yes, that's great, isn't it?"

"Seeing yourself as drunk as you were yesterday, it's not a great thing for me. "

"Tell me who left me at the restaurant yesterday?!"

"If you like to get drunk, you don't have to make others an excuse. Had it not been for your father, I wouldn't have troubled myself to come here. It's a waste of time,"

Still, with a cold look, Andi was disgusted with this woman. Putri didn't even care. She still spread a smile even though Andi said badly to her.

"You never sinned, to the point of daring to sneer at me like that?" asked the Putri.

"At least, I didn't damage myself with alcohol."

"Ah, you sure are the one who feels most sacred. I'm sure you've let others down, too. Right, right?"

Andi was silent; instantly, he remembered his problem with Fera first. Luckily, until now, Fera doesn't know he is the mastermind behind all the terror. But unfortunately, Fera didn't know until he forgot about the problem.

Andi avoided Putri's question by answering her father's question. Fortunately, Putri's father asked for her opinion. Otherwise, he didn't know what he should answer to Putri.

After looking around, Mr. Hartono took him to lunch. However, Andi refused because of work matters. So finally, his father drove Andi to his office instead of driving.

"Son Andi, thank you for delivering me today, huh? Oh, yes. It's not wrong if you always boast about yourself. You are a man who is smart in business and looks responsible. So it's suitable to be the dream son-in-law."

"Ndi, come to dinner with my family this week, huh?" the Putri asked.

"I'll think about it."

An awkward and unsettling atmosphere for Andi. He really couldn't move freely. He couldn't even say no to every word Mr. Hartono.

"Take care of your health, Ndi. See you this week."

'I haven't decided yet, and the Putri has already said that. This woman is testing forbearance!'

Andi approached his office and saw a familiar person standing in the lobby. Gosh, Siska?! What is she doing here?!

"Baby, where are you from? How come it just came? I've been waiting for you for an hour," Siska said.

"I have a business first, Babe."

"Oh, then who was that one?"

"Which one?" asked Andi, pretending not to know.

"The one who drove you in the car just now."

"Th-that is my friend. Uh, by the way, how come you are here? It's not that it shouldn't go anywhere, the doctor said?"
