Chapter 30 - Angry

Siska shut herself in the room regardless of the knock on the door from outside by her brother.

She also ignored the call from Andi and turned off his cell phone. Fortunately, she will work overtime tomorrow. So, there was no reason for her to meet the guy. She planned to go to work as early as possible without her brother knowing or even Andi. Because she was sure, Andi would come as if to explain what happened last night. Seeing from her text message alone, Siska was already upset.

'Sis, don't be angry. I don't mean to play on you. I can explain; pick up the phone, please.'

One of Andi's messages that Siska accidentally read.

Siska cried and felt stupid. Why could she not have thought of that? She knows that her brother is very protective of her, especially about this. She should have realized that Daffa's calmness meant that there was something she didn't know.

Siska was ashamed, very embarrassed. Shame that it has the effect of being angry and upset. It was as if she didn't want to see Andi anymore. She felt like a child who was being lied to.

She then turned on her cell phone again and called Maria regardless of Andi's messages. Siska told her everything. Instead of being relieved, she was even more upset because of Maria's response, who laughed aloud at Siska and Andi's first 'Date' story. Now, Maria is forced to be dragged into Siska's circle of annoyance.

She was confused, crying and again feeling stupid.

'What's wrong if I'm angry?'

'Why are they all laughing at me? Am I a person who deserves to be bullied? And another one, Maria, why are you joining the laughing bandwagon, anyway?!' she said with a monologue.

This time Siska turned off her phone without turning it back on until tomorrow. At least, that was her decision now for her peace of heart.

On the other hand, she also felt strange about her anger. 'Am I too childish to respond to all this?'

Siska forgot about someone. Yes, he forgot Fera. She just remembered daydreaming in her room and saw a picture of Fera in the room in his brother's house. Awry, wanting to leave the room, Siska has also been embarrassed. Perhaps, Fera had also slept asleep. There was no time left to wait for tomorrow to tell her sister-in-law all. There was no other way, and she could only dwell on her mattress while slowly closing her eyes and falling asleep involuntarily.

The next day, outside, the sky was still dark, and the air was frigid. Siska was already secretly preparing to head towards her office to work. Before everyone woke up, Siska had already ordered an online taxi so that people at home would not be suspicious. Especially her brother.

Her annoyance was now slowly gone, only an unstoppable embarrassment. It is no longer possible if her to meet her brother or Andi. Want to put where this face with such a childish nature last night?

When she arrived at the office, it was still quiet there, and no one had come to work. The door was still locked. She was forced to wait at the post until the security man came to open the office lock. An hour passed, and finally, the security had just arrived. Siska went straight into her room without further and breathed a sigh of relief. She is very short of rest time today. Last night, she fell asleep very late after telling a story with Maria, even with annoyance afterwards. After about five hours of sleep, she had to wake up to leave for the office early in the morning without anyone else knowing.

This time, he started to activate her Cellphone and browsed the messages that had not been read. Still ignoring Andi's message, she only sent her brother. She told him that she had gone to work so that her brother would not worry.

Tired and still sleepy, she closed her eyes for a moment by leaning her head on the table in a half-sitting position. Not long after, the phone sound in her room ringing shocked her. She woke up in a state of extreme headache. She didn't want to pick up the phone that rang earlier. She tried to call the pantry to deliver her some water and told one of the Office Boy to buy her headache medicine.

Not long after, OB came and gave the medicine. When she was about to stand up, Siska, aiming to go to the toilet, suddenly her body fell unconsciously in front of the OB. The OB panicked and shouted out of Siska's room for help. Maria, who happened to come to her office, panicked and called Daffa. Fortunately, because their office is next to each other, it is not tricky for Daffa to reach her sister's office. Daffa immediately took Siska to the hospital because Siska got a fever.

When she arrived at the hospital, Siska was examined and was already unconscious. According to the doctor's statement, she was a sleeper and tired. Plus, the cold weather made her have a fever. Siska is welcome to go home and rest. She, staying at his brother's house, now returns to her residence with her mother.

In her room, she just fell silent and rested utterly. Without recounting yesterday's incident, she and Daffa agreed not to discuss it again.

Of course, there is one worried person who meets Siska yet, namely, Andi.

She had not had time to apologize. He even heard the news that the girl he was dating yesterday had fallen ill, making his guilt even more significant. Incessantly he blamed himself for the pain Siska had suffered. Coming up with a bunch of white roses and a basket of fruits, the guy visited Siska hoping that the girl could forgive him.

When she got home, Mama let Andi in. Siska, whose condition was starting to improve, slowly walked down the stairs and saw Andi sitting in the living room.

'Hopefully, Andi won't be felt with me.'

When climbing the last step, Siska slipped a little but was successfully failed by Andi swiftly. He helped Siska walk towards the living room.

"Siska, I'm sorry. This is for you."

Andi gave flowers and gifts that he brought. Siska smiled, and it seemed that she forgave Andi even though she was still shy. Guilt was visible in his eyes. Likewise, with regret, it looks as if he will not repeat yesterday's trivial mistakes without Siska knowing with good intentions.

"Did you forgive me?" asked Andi expectantly.

"Of course, who am I where I can't accept your apology."

"Ah, thank goodness." Andi breathed a sigh of relief. However, it was not so easy for Siska to forgive him.

"But, if you want to really I'm sorry, there are conditions...."
