Chapter 27 - The Twin

"Congratulations, they are twins."

"It's like a dream, Doc," Daffa said, looking at her two tiny, adorable babies.

A smile came to Daffa's lips. Likewise, with Fera, he was grateful to have been given fluency during his inauguration yesterday. The events of that day were dramatic. How not? When Daff received a call from the doctor who treated Fera, he was shocked and immediately slid towards the hospital from his office by borrowing Farhan's motorcycle. He did it because he knew there was no time left if he drove his car and got stuck in traffic on the road. Arriving at the hospital, Fera was already lying weak with a pale face. He immediately stood next to his wife with his hand. According to the doctor's statement, Fera is already in the opening seven which soon the baby will be born into the world. Finally, Fera gave birth to her two little angels with normal delivery, whom she later had been with Daffa.

A few moments later, Daffa's mom, Siska, and Mrs Ningsih came in a hurry. So worried and panicked by Fera's condition, they do not remember the baby she had born.

"Fer-Fera, are you ok, dear?" Daffa's mom asked.

"Fera! I told you don't go anywhere, and this has happened!" Mrs Ningsih said regretfully.

"Relax, calm down first, everyone, Fera is fine. Yes, Mama's grandchild has been born. Their name is Dinda and Devin," Daffa said, showing her baby, sleeping soundly on the baby's bed.

"Oh my god, they're so cute," said Mrs Arni.

"Fera, How does it feel to give birth?" Siska asked, standing ducking next to Fera's mattress.

"It's crazy also challenging, Hahaha. Uh, how come you rarely come home now? I was going to stop by your house!"

"Siska is in love, Fer. She's staying in the room more often now, playing on cell phones and calling who it is. Ah, Andi, his name!" Chirped Mrs Arni.

"Mom?!" Siska murmured.

Andi? In love? What does Mama mean?

Hearing Mama's words, Daffa and Fera looked at each other. They seem to be worrying about the same thing.

Not wanting to mess with the happy atmosphere at this time, the two no longer continued Siska and Andi's discussion.

The video call notification from Fera's mother sounded on Daffa's phone. But unfortunately, Mrs Firda has not been able to come because of the news of her grandchild's sudden birth.

"Hello, Ma. Mama's grandchild is here. But, wait, are you sick?!"

Daffa's speech stopped when she saw his in-laws lying on the bed while video calling with him. Not only Daffa but the whole room was also surprised to see the condition of Mrs Arni.

"Ma, Mama, why?! Mama's sick? How come you didn't tell Fera?!"

"I'm ok, dear. Just a little dizzy, don't think too much. By the way, I'm sorry Mama hasn't been able to come there today. Hopefully, tomorrow we can go to Bandung. Mama wants to see Mama's grandchildren firsthand."

Fera's mood, which was originally happy, now turns grey when she sees the condition of snag mama. Her mother never hid anything from Fera about her illness.

"Mrs Firda, tomorrow Daffa will pick you up, ok?" Mama Daffa said.

"Yes, Ma. Daffa leaves here at five o'clock in the morning. So Mama's getting ready, huh?"

"Thank you, Mrs Arni. It is ok?"

"Don't mind. We are a family. You bring a lot of clothes so that they can belong in Bandung, mom."

At least Fera gratefully has in-laws who are very concerned with the mother's condition. But, out there, many daughters-in-law who do not get along with the couple's family, especially her parents.

Fera, who has not recovered enough, still has to be hospitalised for at least two days. But, accompanied by Mrs Ningsih and her mother-in-law, it is enough for her not to feel lonely after giving birth. This morning, Daffa has left for Bekasi to pick up Fera's mother.

The mother, who had just given birth to two twins, immediately called her best friend to give this happy news. She sent a photo of Dinda and Devin to Andi.

It didn't take long, and Andi immediately called his best friend.

"Fer! They are so cute! Oh, my God, congratulations!" Welcome, Andi.

"Thank you, Ndi. I didn't expect to be a mother now," Fera replied.

"You're going to be a great mom, Fer. So what kind of gift do you want from Uncle Andi?"

"Hahaha, it's so amusing that you called yourself Uncle. "

"Is it wrong? So, what they used to call me?"

The two joked like they were in one place. Although the distance separates, the affection between them will not break.

Daffa decided to ask Siska to accompany him on the way to Bekasi.

The two seemed to be silent this time and only talked about unimportant languages. Along the way, Siska was autistic with her cell phone.

"Who are you chatting with, anyway?" Daffa asked while driving her car.

Siska still looked at her device with a smile without responding to her brother's question.

"Hello?! Siska!" Daffa scolded while shaking his sister's shoulders.

"Uh, yes. What?" replied Siska in a daze.

"You don't hear what your brother said?"

"I can't hear you. What is it?"

"Whose chatting with you? Are you dating someone?" Daffa asked again. This time he was a little annoyed.

"No. It's nobody. I'm not dating either."

"If you no longer chat with someone, how do you become like that? smiling by yourself,"

"Hmm, there is someone. But he's a good guy. Fera knows him too," Siska replied.

"Who?" said Daffa pretending to ask when he knew who the person was.

"I won't tell you," Siska yelled.

"If you don't want to tell me, it's ok. Take care of yourself. Don't be fooled or confused. Later, you have hurt again," Daffa said, giving advice.

"Yes, brother. It's not going to happen."

Siska was quite surprised by her brother's response this time. Why? Because this is not what it used to be. If Daffa knew Siska was close to a guy, he would ask her various questions and ask his social media accounts to look around. However, the response differed because her brother only received Siska's answer without bombarding her with silly questions again.

But, on the other hand, Siska kept a positive mind. Maybe, because he said this guy knew Fera, her brother became calmer and just advised.

She can't deny it. Now Siska has become more intense in communicating with Andi. She doesn't know why, but his sister-in-law's best friend always made him melt. From the start of the way of speaking, his attitude is now a concern for him. Also, occasionally he once sent food which happened to be his friend in Bandung. Andi, who always replied to Siska's messages, found comfort in the sweet girl. The age of those who are five years adrift is enough to make the two understand each other.

"Daffa. How if a guy is really serious about us?"

"The guy who loves you won't feel at home for a long time without telling you. Do you know what it means?"

"I get it. Keep it from finances? How about it?"

"Yes, he will make royal the same as you. But he is also honest. Suppose he has no money. He's going to say the same to you. If so, the sign is that he believes in you as a suitable place to tell stories both in difficult situations and not. And that's where he'll look. You'll stay with him or run away when the guy has no money."

"Ok, I get it now."

"Why? Your guy's stingy? You're talking about finances."

"I did, no. He's good. That's it. I don't want another story before I become with him."

"You grow up now," Daffa teased her sister.

Everything Daffa said almost approached Andi's attitude towards Siska. But, of course, she was happy with it. Because for a long time, she did have a sense of Andi.

'I'm not going to force him to have the same feel as me. But I will make him like me slowly, like running water.'

The words that have always been in Siska's heart.

Fortunately, it is possible that Andi feels the same way because what he originally was just a fad. Now he began to like Siska's innocence. Of course, he was still confused about whether he liked the girl. But at least for a while, he was comfortable around her, even if only via cyberspace.

'I'm on my way to pick up Fera's mom.'

'Ok, be careful, ok? But, you've eaten, haven't you?'

There are a few romantic messages between the two. She answered why Siska smiled when she saw the cellphone because Andi was the reason.

'Be careful on the road. Let me know if you arrive.'

'Why should it be?'

'Because I care about you.'
