Fera had woken up preparing breakfast and cleaning her house early in the morning. She is doing as usual without remembering that she is currently pregnant.
Daffa, who woke up from his sleep and saw no Fera by his side, rushed out of the room and looked for his wife.
"Babe! You don't have to do all the housework anymore! You will be sophisticated," Daffa scolded Fera, who was mopping the floor.
"Ah, I can still work on this all. You calm down."
"No! Anyway, you have to be with me. I won't let something bad happen to you."
Fera smiled slightly at her husband's very protective with such a good cause. The two have not informed the family about Fera's pregnancy to date. They plan to announce it through a joint dinner attended by the next of kin only.
"I have got someone who will take care of this house and accompany you when I work. Her name is Mrs. Ningsih. She's the one who took care of me as a kid."
"Indeed, when did she come here?" asked Fera to Daffa.
"Probably this afternoon."
The dinner will be held at their home next week. They had told their families to attend the event to meet without telling the truth as a surprise.
Following Daffa's request to Farhan last night, he abandoned his intention to report to the authorities about Mr. X. Because he hopes that he can still solve this problem in a familial way.
"I think we have to explore Anton first. You see, he's just your secret admirer. Nothing has led to a crime yet. So it's a bit difficult to report the police, Daf."
"Yes, anyway. Tomorrow we will be fine."
At least, that was the conversation between Farhan and Daffa last night.
In the afternoon, Mrs. Ningsih also came. Fera explained all the work that Mrs. Ningsih wanted to do in her big house. After getting to know each other, Daffa asks Fera for permission to go outside the house with Farhan to investigate more about Anton.
"Hopefully, everything is quickly revealed. Be careful, Babe."
Fera threw expectant at her husband. Fortunately, today is on holiday together. So Daffa took advantage of this time off to immediately solve the problems in his household.
"I'm in front of your house," Farhan said.
Daffa rushed out of the house and met his co-worker. Farhan deliberately picked up Daffa riding a motorcycle at Daffa's request.
"You're the one who twisted. I'm going home."
"Ok, Daf."
The two rushed towards the address they went to yesterday. Once there, the door was wide open as if waiting for the two to come.
"I know you will come again with your friend, Daffa."
Daffa was silent for a moment. He was surprised. Where did this young man know his name when he didn't recognize him?!
"Who are you?! No need to talk! I know there's something strange about you since yesterday I came out of this house!"
"Calm down, calm down. Come in first. We talk about everything like an adult," Anton explained flatly.
"Ck! Adult, you said?!" said Farhan as he walked into Anton's house.
"Let's get this straight. Who are you? Why are you bothering my family?!" insisted Daffa.
"Yes, we don't have much time. Please explain immediately," Farhan added.
"First of all, I was sorry that what I did disturb Daffa and Fera. However, this is all I do based on my concern for my nephew, Andi."
"Andi?! Andi Saputra?!"
"Yes, that's right."
Anton's answer made Daffa go up in the blood. He clenched his fists with bulging eyes and almost pulled Anton's collar to question Andi's whereabouts.
"Hold on, Daf," Farhan calmed down.
"Where is he?! Where is he now?! So gentleman, dong! Here, if you dare! Don't be able to send strange letters to my wife!" concluded Daffa.
Suddenly a man who was very familiar with Daffa came out of one of the house's rooms.
"I'm here," he said.
With a quick step, Daffa confronted Andi and punched him directly in the face of the man.
"Damn you, Ndi! You have the heart to disturb the happiness of your own best friend! Accept the consequences!" shouted Daffa.
"Daf, Daf! 'Ve! Don't be a vigilante! Calm down first!"
Farhan and Anton broke both of them. Andi, who did not resist, just fell silent and lowered his head, holding back the pain. A little blood now appeared on his lips, the hard impact marks from Daffa's clenched fingers.
"I want to explain everything. I did this because Fera hurt me. He rejected my love. By being friendly with him for many years, he kept the same thing to me. However, it was all wrong. He thinks of me as his best friend."
"Do you know that because of this silly behavior, it makes Fera stressed?! In fact, on my and Fera's wedding day, she still thinks about it because she needs her best friend on her happy day!"
"Yes, I know, Daf. I'm sorry. I'm forced to do this, using Anton's number to terrorize you guys. My anger grew when I heard of your marriage. However, I know that what I am doing will gradually be discovered. So I'm apologizing profusely. I hate myself for doing this."
"You deserve more apologies to Fera! It's not the same me!" said Daffa.
"Yes, I will apologize to Fera directly."
"Daf, are you sure you want to tell him to talk directly to Fera? She's pregnant. How about it if she drops with this news?" whispered Farhan.
Daffa was silent. Thinking there is also a truth to what Farhan said. Then, what should he do? After all, Fera must know the mastermind behind all this.
"You can't see him now. I have other, more effective ways for my wife's best."
"What way? I will do anything for my best friend. And I trust you, Daf."
"I ask you to appear in front of Fera. Explain to her about your disappearance during this time. For any reason, without knowing that you were related to yesterday's terror problem."
"Go-good. I understand," Andi replied, nodding.
With the agreement, Dafa and Farhan left Anton's house. Dafa asks Andi to come to the dinner he and Fera are planning this week. Because, after all, Dafa knows that his wife misses her best friend very much.
"Which, where are you?" asked Fera calling her husband.
"I'm on the way home. How do you feel? Mrs. Ningsih has slept yet?"
"I've eaten. Mrs. Ningsih is next to me, sitting with me, watching tv."
Daffa breathed a sigh of relief because now everything was over. Fortunately, if it were someone else, Andi would have troubled him more to solve this problem.
Andi has also explained enough about the chronology of his terror. Everything was reasonable and beyond Daffa's expectations at first.
At that time, Andi did disable the old number known by Fera on the first day his love rejected him. He decides to take revenge subtly, sending papers bearing mysterious messages both in Fera's old residence and his best friend's café.
He never returned to America after that. Same with Fera's wedding. He was deliberately present secretly without being seen by Fera and her family. Fortunately, his uncle, Anto, knowingly recommends a minor contract in a narrow alley so that it is not easy for people to know.
Anto is the only family member still living in Indonesia today. Therefore, he asked for his help.
In the past few days, Andi has been tired of what he has done. He felt there was no point in doing this. Andi lost his best friend's joy. He just realized that friendship is more valuable than romance.
He misses the joy of his best friend.
He even missed Fera's family.
He cried when Fera's father died. But, ego trumps his empathy. So, he could only insert sorrow in a mysterious piece of paper during this time.
He doesn't hate Daffa at all. At first, he felt he was more deserving of Fera's love after he became the first person to whom Fera poured out his heart.
"Are you sure that Andi can be trusted?" asked Farhan on his way home to Daffa.
"Yes, I am sure. I can see the regret in his eyes."
"Beware that he dares to mess around again with your family! I'm abusing him!"
Daffa smiled slightly at Farhan's remarks. There was no jealousy in him when he found out that Andi had once expressed love for Fera. He knows that Andi is one of the influential people for Fera, especially since the departure of her twin, Feli.
"Once again, I'm sorry, Daffa. I don't mean anything. I am stupid."
Andi's last words to Daffa made him realize that his wife's best friend was not the wrong person.
"Honey, I'm home."
"Ah, you finally went home too. Bring some food, don't you?"
"Of course. Especially for my beloved wife and future kid," Daffa said, stroking his wife's stomach.
"Honey, Farhan and I have traced the person terrorizing us. It looks like we need to forget all of this, anyway. You realize, don't you? If there are no more mysterious messages or letters after the delivery of the package. Maybe it's just a prankster."
"Why isn't it completely investigated, Babe?"
"Yes, we will see in the future. If it is still disturbed, we will report the authorities. But if it doesn't continue, we also forget it. I'm sure the guy cape himself and won't bother us anymore if we don't respond too much to him. I think we focus on our children."
Fera smiled at her husband. She then hugged him lovingly.
"Thank you, Babe. I'm going to be with you. Love you."
