"Even though you don't need to come far here, Daf. It took an hour to come here from your house. After all, you are rich in work." Fera said she fought back her tears.
"Relax, anyway. I don't leave the house. I'm from the office. It just so happens that it's my lunchtime. Please, don't cry again. Your relationship with Andi will return as usual. You guys are best friends. Surely he will understand."
Fera was unsure of Daffa's words, and it had been an hour since Andi had not replied or picked up the phone from her. She knew very well that Andi had been online on his social media but deliberately did not reply to Fera's message.
"Are you hungry?" asked Fera, whose tears stopped because she heard the stomach of a snout coming from Daffa.
"Haha, yes," Daffa replied with a shy smile.
"Hahaha, why you didn't say to me? Wait here. I happened to cook and was brought here for my supply. Fortunately, there is more than one serving. Understandably, more eating, hehe."
"Uh, thank you. It turns out that my hungry stomach can make you smile again. If that's it, it's beautiful. Please, there's always a rainbow after every huge storm. Don't be sad. I am always on your side if you need me," said Daffa.
The girl blushed in embarrassment, and she rarely heard compliments coming from a guy except for Andi. Daffa's presence makes Fera forget for a moment about her problems with her best friend. She didn't even remember that today was Andi's last day in Bandung.
While elsewhere, Andi bemoaned his grief and tried to calm down. He understood why Fera didn't want it because he expected more from his best friend.
'Thank you for all this, Fera. I can't believe you rejected me like that. After all this time, I am always on your side, and this what you do to me? You threat me like I'm not your best friend! Oh, I know. I was wrong about you all this time. I can see a love in your eyes to someone else. It's Daffa, right?!' Andi said to his heart.
Day after day, Daffa and Fera's unintentional closeness grew sweetly. The two often meet, send food to each other, visit each other's family, and finally, they are not awkward anymore if together. Although the new happiness came into Fera's life, something disturbing until now is the disappearance of Andi. For almost three months, the two of them were not communicating. Not Fera did not want to, she had tried it, but Andi's phone was not active. His family did not respond either. Perhaps, their parents are still communicating with each other, but Fera deliberately did not tell her parents about the matter for privacy reasons.
Occasionally he worries about Andi but sometimes forgets because now Daffa's presence fills his day.
The other day, Daffa decided to talk seriously with his mom. He thinks this is the right time to talk about his relationship in the future, Fera. There's no time to wait.
"Ma, Daffa wants to propose to Fera," said Daffa to his mom.
Daffa talks seriously in deep conversation. He never looked so severe before.
"Thank God, are you ready, son?" asked Mrs. Arni.
"Already. I don't know more details about her yet, but I'm sure she's the one."
"Mama will talk about this to Mr. and Mrs. Gunawan. But is Fera ready too?"
"I'm sure that she will accept Daffa," Daffa said confidently.
Five months of being close friends is a short time. However, Daffa is very confident he will propose to Fera soon. He feels he and Fera are suitable. He is tired of dating. They are both old enough even though they will marry young.
"Are you sure, want to propose to Fera now?" asked Siska, who suddenly walked into Daffa's room.
"How do you know? Not right now, but soon I will," Daffa replied.
"Did you do this because Fera is Feli's twin? which they face looked similar?"
Daffa fell silent and held her sister's shoulder with a sharp look in her eyes.
"Feli is happy out there. There is nothing to do with her, and you know Feli and Fera are different. I love Fera because she is Fera. Not Feli, you understand?" explained Daffa.
"O-ok, brother."
Siska rushed away from her brother's room. After making sure that Siska had left, the room owner closed the meeting and locked his room. He immediately threw his body on a single-sized soft mattress.
"Lord, if this is your way, please give the best choice. This taste is you who give, so lead me to be able to run this perfectly," he said as he looked at the sky of his room.
The anticipated event arrives. Gunawan's family, including Fera, agreed to this marriage accelerated to avoid things that were not. After all, Fera and Daffa had already known more as friends before becoming as close as they are now.
Not many people come. This application event is only attended by the family concerned. That is, both Fera and Daffa's parents. They plan they will invite the entire family to the main event later.
In a modern mint green gown and batik side cloth as her skirt, Fera looks very graceful. Natural makeup and hair buns increasingly give off Fera's genuine beauty aura.
The event went very smoothly until now. The two took pictures together using their respective application rings. Both of them seemed happy and seemed to have no burden.
'Wherever you are, I hope you're okay and find someone right for you, Andi,' Fera wish secretly to her best friend in her heart.
"Right now, may I call you, Baby?" asked the friendly Daffa.
Fera blushed in embarrassment. This looks so unreal for her. She had never felt like this before and was threatened sweet by a guy. She replied to Daffa's question with a slight smile and nodding.
While enjoying her day of happiness, Fera suddenly noticed something strange. A woman who used kebaya and the same hair makeup turned her body. Then, Fera was curious who she was. Slowly the girl turned around.
"Feli?? Is it her?!" Fera said, mumbling.
