Chapter 10 - Regret

"I warned you once, but maybe you disagree with my opinion. Now, maybe it's Fera's time. It's for your good."

Said a girl sitting on a garden chair next to Fera, staring at nature with a blank stare. Fera turned her head and saw that her twin was already glazed over. Even her tears almost fell down her cheeks.

"I'm not going to be angry or hate you. I've calmed down here, Fer. It's just that I'm asking God, for my love, the opportunity to remind you of the right path, even if it's just one meeting in a dream."

Fera was silent and cried, listening to Feli's words.

"And now that we're meeting for the second time, God is very kind to me. Please, this time, listen to me. Although this may be our last meeting, you should be sure that I am very calm and happy if you always remember me in your heart."

Instantly Fera hugged Feli with a sobbing cry. The weather was so bright it even felt like heaven. Birds chirp, trees, and plants look lush, as well as the gurgling sound of water that brings peace.

"Do you want to forgive me?" Fera said in Feli's arms.

"Where could I possibly not forgive you, Fer, alright. I have to go now...".

"Wh-where are you going?"

Slowly Feli let go of Fera's embrace and walked away from her.

"Fel-Fe-Feli!! Wait! Don't go again! Felicia!" Fera cried.

Suddenly she awoke from her dream, her body was sweating, and she looked confused. She saw my mom and dad crying by her side. Fera just remembered that she had just regained consciousness when she passed out earlier.

"Papa! Mama! I'm Sorry. Fera didn't mean to hurt you or Feli." Fera hugged her parents while crying.

Mama gave him a drink to be a little calmer. They didn't even dare to ask anything at this time for fear of Fera being dropped and sad.

"I'll explain everything to you. Where's Daffa?"

"Are you ready, dear? It's ok if you want to take a break, Mama won't push.

"Ready Ma, this I have to account for." Fera

"Ok, Papa's going to call Daffa."

Shortly after that, Daffa went into the room with Siska. Fera was shocked and upset to see Siska. She realized that she had been lied to yesterday. However, she could only be silent because she kept his attitude in front of her parents. Siska just bowed nervously, not daring to glance at Fera in the slightest. Papa and Mama decided to move first to the room where Mama Daffa was there. To provide an explanatory space between Daffa and Fera on this issue.

"Hello Daf, I know I was wrong, but all this was done purely for good. There is no bad intention at all." Said Fera.

"Then what do you mean lying to me, Fer?" Ask Daffa.

"At first, I was upset because I had seen the two of you with Siska walking together. I thought you betrayed Feli, then I took revenge in this way, but yesterday I already knew the truth that you were Daf's sister."

"Good intentions? By keeping your own twin's death a secret and pretending to be him? Haha, it's funny."

"I swear I didn't intend to go this far, Daf!"

"Don't you think I've been right all this time? "Have you liked me for a long time?" Ask Daffa

"Don't be crazy, Daf! That's where I want to solve the problem, not for the fuss. I'm guilty, and I'm sorry, ok?!"

Daffa was silent; he was a little embarrassed by his statement earlier. He was too confident to think Fera liked it all this time, even had time to slander Fera on Feli.

"Now you're Siska! Why are you lying?! Just yesterday, I said I believe in you, but why is everything like this?"

"I-I ..."

"Ah, stop, I'm too stupid. You're brothers and sisters. How could you not tell each other about this? I blame you too."

Soon Fera and Daffa's parents entered. They calmed Fera and Daffa, who were still the same emotions with each other. Fera explained to her parents everything she did and deeply regretted it.

"Enough, Fer, we as parents are unlikely to linger in anger at you. The important thing is that you have confessed and regretted your actions."

"Yes, mom was wrong too. Mama told you not to talk much about Feli's passing."

Fera was a little calm with her parents' statement. However, he was confused by the presence of a woman who came with her parents.

"Introduce this Mrs. Arni, Daffa's and Siska's mother," Papa's clear to Fera

"What's up? Daffa's mother is here? She doesn't know about this matter. Did Feli or I ever make a mistake to him?" Fera asked in her heart.

For the first time, Fera met Mama Daffa. She was gorgeous, graceful, and looked friendly. She was wrapped in a long black dress with a polka dot motif. He was very fashionable for his age that he no longer seemed young.

"Maybe the arrival of auntie here is quite surprising Nak Fera because this is the first time we met, but beyond the problem that auntie already understood enough, there are things you want to talk to Fera about." Mama Daffa said.

"What do you want to talk to, Fera?" Daffa asked, confused.

"Yes, you will explain now. You should be silent first, Daffa."

Daffa was confused to hear his mother's words, as well as Fera's. He looked nervous when speaking directly to Daffa's mother.

"Before this, your aunt and parents had met talking about the continuity of Daffa and Feli's relationship. But fate wills another, Feli has been called first by the Almighty." Said Daffa's mom.

"That's it, Son Daffa, Fera. We plan to bring you together later." Papa added

"Hah? What?!!! Maa???! Come on!" Daffa cries to her mom.

"You're kidding, aren't you?" Said Fera.

"Wait to listen to our explanation first. So, we didn't mean to disrespect Feli, but we were mature enough to talk about this relationship until Feli was gone. And you will not just marry us; you are free to use the time at any time to get to know each other better."

"But Ma, it's not that easy. Fera and Feli are different. Although our twins are still different, Ma!!!" Fera exclaimed to Mama.

Siska just fell silent to see them arguing, now the matter is no longer about Fera pretending to be Feli. But this matchmaking is very unreasonable, according to Fera and Daffa.

"Please, ma, it's 2021. Is it still the time of matchmaking?! After all, we are old enough, and we have the right to choose our path!"

"Daffa now, Mama asks, have you moved on from Feli? I know that Feli was your first." Said Mrs. Arni Daffa.

"Yes, but, ah! Oh, my God, why is it so complicated anyway?!" Daffa grumbled and walked towards the main door of the room.

"Daf, where are you going?!"

"Get out, I'm dizzy. When it's done, just call me." Daffa replied to her mother as she left room 105.

The atmosphere became a little awkward between them. Fera was sitting daydreaming, holding her head which felt like she was about to break hearing this news.

Mrs. Arni and Siska also said goodbye. They decided to talk about this at a later time. Fera and Fera's parents now live in the hotel room. They silently pondered, thinking about this.

"Ma, Pa. Why the hell does it have to be this way? I guess with me confessing. This matter is all sorted out. How come there is good news? Why the hell?"

"We also had to..." replied Papa in a tone.

"Forced?? What Papa means?"
