Our conversations have now subsided. Every step I took was incredibly exhausting and went to my bones. I was literally shaking like a washing machine. I couldn't estimate the distance to our destination, but the closer we got, the warmer the temperatures got, which kept our spirits and hopes up. But the wind that came against us from time to time was incredibly exhausting, painful, tedious and stressful.
At some point we reached the point where the temperatures felt bearable. The wind no longer felt like it could kill us. Slowly we also realized what we were actually moving towards. Rather, we had a hunch, but no one really knew what it was.
"Am I stupid, or is that a dead dragon?" asked Can
"Seems so," I replied
"Considering where we ended up, that doesn't really surprise me," Emiliano said
"True... But where's his head?" Napat mentioned
"Hmm... Maybe it ran away?" Can replied
"Ah yeah, that happens to me sometimes too..." Emiliano added
"I see," Napat said.
The scale of this creature is incredible and incomparable to any being from Earth. A claw alone was certainly as big as a BVG Double-Decker Bus. The scales were silver and reflected the light of the two suns, which was incredibly aesthetic. After we finally arrived, we circled this so-called dragon to secure the area. Easier said than done when you factor in the size of these monstrous beings. In between we took a little break and ate a few Katjes. Napat is obsessed with these, so he brought enough for all of us. But he forgot his shoes...
The temperature which surrounded this so-called headless dragon felt incredibly comfortable. However, each of us had received cold burns on various parts of the body such as hands, feet, ears, etc.
Finally, after some hours we arrived at the dragon's neck, where a skull or something else should normally sit. It appears as if the head has been cleanly cut of. Just seeing the inside of it, is a view I'd rather not have seen.
"Hmm..." I uttered as I spotted a couple of hoof tracks leading into the dragon's interior.
"Oh shit, there's something in there!" Can yelled
Shortly thereafter, a loud roar was heard and something was storming towards us.
