Chereads / Sam & Mara / Chapter 18 - Chapter 18

Chapter 18 - Chapter 18

Mara woke up, the sun in her eyes. She definitely was not used to that. Her room was pitch black in the morning. She was never an early riser. She heard clanging in the kitchen and slowly got out of bed. Her lower body was a little sore, but god it was worth it. She couldn't help but smile and even giggle a little, trying to cover her mouth. It had been so long since she had such intense orgasms. Sam was in the kitchen cooking bacon and eggs.

The smell filled the whole house. She got up and started doing a little happy dance and waltzed into the bathroom. Mara came in through the hallway, wearing one of his white t-shirts and her underwear. Sam thought he could get used to the sight of her every morning. "Oh my god, I'm so hungry" she said. "What time is it?" "It's early babe, we kind of passed out before dinner last night. Come eat, I made breakfast."

"Don't have to ask me twice," she smiled. "Oh but I need coffee." She loved her coffee. Actually she loved cream and sugar, with some coffee in it. "Babe you call what you drink coffee? That's like a milkshake with all the cream and sugar you put in it." She laughed. He handed her a hot cop of coffee. "What can I say I like it sweet!"

She was opening the fridge to get the cream. He came behind her wrapping his arms around her middle, "Oh I'll give you something sweet." They were both laughing. It's amazing how much can change in one week, she thought.

Eating breakfast together was her favorite thing to do. In her mind it was the best way to start the day. "You look extremely happy this morning." He said after taking another sip of coffee. "Hmmm," she sighed, "Do I now." She popped a piece of bacon in her mouth. "Did I ever tell you that I love that you actually eat food?" "What?" she questioned and laughed at the same time. "I mean it's just nice to see a woman enjoy her food."

He thought back to dates he had been on when a girl would barely touch her plate or she was vegan free, soy free, diary free and on and on. He didn't have to worry about any of that with Mara. "My girl and I eat everything," Mara said proudly. "But breakfast is my favorite."

"Speaking of your girl, when do I get to meet Ms. Gillian?" he asked. Mara was wiping the egg off her face. The thought had come in her mind before, especially with Gillian being so nosey. "Well, she's supposed to come home for the holidays soon. She might go skiing with some friends. Actually I mean to ask you, about this place called Gatlinburg?"

"Oh yeah, it's great. It's man made snow, it's basically the only place to ski in the state," he said. "Yeah, but is it safe for her to go?" she asked. Sam sat back in the chair. "I mean listen as long as she doesn't bite off more than she could chew. If she stays on the bunny slopes, she'll be fine." Mara bit her lip. "What babe, what is it?" he asked.

She looked at him. "You're always thinking something when you bite your lip," he said. She smiled, "Yeah do I? I just get nervous, you know. She's going with her friend and this boy." Sam's eyes perked up, "A boy, what's his name." "Bryan," she said. "Babe, you got a last name?" No she shook her head. "Well find out for me and I'll check him out."

"You don't have to do that babe, I'm sure they're all harmless. I just get nervous you know. I mean she's never really skied before. She's so adventurous, nothing like I was at her age." "Yeah, but I would still feel better finding out about this guy," he said. "You know college boys can be really stupid, I should know." He laughed. She got up and went over to sit on his lap. "That's sweet, I'm sure if she knew she would think it's very overly protective," she smiled. "I mean, you know she's your daughter, she's important to you. I want her to be important to me too." That made Mara's heart skip a beat.

"Besides you say you're not adventurous huh? Well you got hit on by a cop at bar who you took home, shot a gun, scared the crap out of two assholes, rode in an ambulance.." She was laughing, "yeah well I guess my life was pretty boring till I met you!" She was teasing him. "I try to keep it interesting," he smiled. "What's with the tattoo babe, I would say that's pretty adventurous too." She blushed, "oh geez I forget I have it half the time. That was with a friend in college actually.

"Yeah I had a little adventurous side back then." She smiled. Sam lifted her up, "Hmm well maybe we can bring that side out some more," he said. "Sam what are you doing?" "Well breakfast is done, time to clean up," and he lifted her over his shoulder to the bathroom.
