"Have you ever been hunting?" Sarah asked. Sarah was in my apartment with me this time. "My dad would take me when I was younger." I understood her. "Did you like it?" I shook my head. "Yeah, I was just surprised that I had never caught a deer." I chuckled. "How about we try it this weekend?" I sighed, "Well, I'm not very interested anymore." Sarah asked, "How long has it been since you went hunting? " I shrugged, "I guess I was six." Sarah ohed again. " Again, I am so sorry about what happened to your I told Sarah not to apologize: "When he died, it was unexpected." Sarah sighed, "Is it okay if I ask what happened?" I swallowed, playing with my glass. "Jessie killed himself." Sarah cried, "I'm so sorry." I gently smiled, "Yeah." She grabbed my hand and tightened it around her.
It never occurred to me that I would tell anyone about what happened to my dad. I haven't spoken about him since he passed away. I have no problem discussing him. Sarah understood and supported me in every way she could. It feels as if I can tell Sarah anything, and that I can trust her.
I haven't told her about the other person I lost. I reflected on Rebecca. Suddenly, I felt like screaming. But Sarah has been nice to me. Sarah is an amazing person, and I can't quite wrap my mind around how beautiful she is.
What was God really doing before Rebecca died? Did he just allow her to suffer? I'm alive, but he chose Rebecca to die. This makes me feel like God doesn't really care. Rebecca would be alive today if he cared about her. But she isn't, she's gone. Sometimes I wish I had died along with her. I cannot understand why God will make anyone suffer.
I was stuck on the side of the road with Bradley. I tried crank up the car, but it wouldn't start. We were on our way to visit his brother, and Bradley was sitting in the passenger seat. We are all super close, so we decided to take a trip together. I continued to crank the engine. It would still not start. "Maybe I should call a tow truck." Bradley said. "Yeah, I guess." I opened the door, knowing Bradley's car would not make it. As soon as I exited the vehicle, I dialed the towing company's number. We waited twenty minutes after the phone started ringing before the car was taken to a shop.
Bradley's brother Ethan was called and told what had happened. Ethan said, "We'll always be able to meet some other time." I sighed; he understood. "I'll talk to you later."
We were picked up by Sarah before Bradley and I headed home. "Thanks for the ride," Bradley said as soon as he got out of the car. He headed straight for our apartment. "Sorry about your trip getting canceled." I nah at Sarah. "I knew his car would break down at some point." Sarah understood, ohing.
Sarah followed me to my apartment eventually. Sarah spoke to me before I opened the door. "Should we go camping sometime? "I chuckled, "Sarah, I don't have time for those things any more, and besides it seems like you're as busy as me." Sarah tells me I'm right, "I miss things like that." I shake my head, "I guess we grew up." Sarah gives me a kiss on the cheek, then walks away.
While I was texting Sarah, I laid my phone on my nightstand. Now I was in bed. She had texted me back, and I read it. I was excited when she told me she was going on a business trip.
Sarah didn't return home until about a week later. Bradley and I bought a used car eventually. Sarah called me as I was heading into town. She told me about her business trip, since she is a CEO once again.
