Chapter 2 - Chapter One

While laying in bed, I was flipping channels with my remote. Despite my depressed state, I kept flipping channels. Bradley entered my room and sat down on my bed. He said, "You need a new woman." I chuckled and said, "What?" Bradely sighed, "Sorry, that came out wrong." I finally found what I wanted to watch on TV. I put my remote on the nightstand. "Will you get up soon?" wondered Bradley. "I don't know," I replied. Bradley shook his head and stood up. He marched in front of the television and turned it off. "Dude, I was watching something." I said. He cleared his throat. "Come on, could you please turn the TV back on?" Bradley crossed his arms as he waited for me to get up. I sighed. "Fine." I sat up in bed.

We headed into the kitchen, and I began to feel hungry. A cereal box was in one of the cabinets, so I grabbed it. After closing the cabinet, I headed to the refrigerator. Looking at Bradley, I realized we were out of milk.

I said, "We're out of milk."

"Sorry, I have to go get more groceries."

I sighed, and I closed the refrigerator.

When Bradley asked when I would be back to work, I replied, "Whenever I feel better." Bradley understood, "I understand." As I headed into the living room, I opened the refrigerator once more. We did have eggs and bacon. I ate that instead.

I was still feeling down when Bradley and I went into town. I wasn't having it when we went grocery shopping together. Bradley thinks things will get better for me, but I don't think they will. Guilt overtook me. I felt like I was responsible for Rebecca's death. Bradley and I walked to his car after we left the store. Bradsly sat in the driver's seat while I sat in the passenger seat. Bradley was happy to go to another destination. However, I was not. I missed Rebecca.

As I walked into our apartment, I laid down the keys. Bradley held groceries in both hands. I just wanted to be kind, so I helped him put things away. I wasn't as talkative as I used to be.

During the night, I had trouble sleeping. The accident kept coming to my mind. Rebecca and I got into an accident. The car was flipping, and I kept turning my head from side to side. As soon as I woke up, Bradley was in my room.

As a result, Bradley decided to take me to a therapist. It was important to him just that I talk. My therapist and Bradley were waiting for me to respond as I sat in the chair. "How are you?" asked the therapist. Nothing came out of my mouth.

In order to make me happy, Bradley was doing everything in his power. However, I will probably never be able to be happy again. We were just there for each other. Nevertheless, he didn't quite understand that my life will never be normal again. In other words, I feel very guilty, and sometimes I feel sick when I'm feeling guilty. That was Bradley's way of being supportive. But I wasn't ready to talk about how I feel.

I was sitting at our table while he was cooking. Bradley cooked. He made a wonderful meal. As I looked down at the food on the plate, it looked delicious. In addition to being a talented artist, Bradley is also a talented cook. I am guessing he wanted to become a chef. The reason Bradley is so smart is because he was not taught any lessons. In addition to being smart, Bradley is also good-hearted.

I was finally able to eat cereal the next morning. Bradly entered the kitchen to show me something. He said, "Dude, I signed you up for online dating." I choked. "What?" I asked. "Bradley, you saw me say I'm not looking for a relationship at the moment." I rolled my eyes and went back to eating. Bradley sighed, "Yeah, but you're missing out." I went back to eating. "Come on, just try it."

My phone was constantly ringing and I was receiving messages from women online. I couldn't bear the noise. "Bradley, I seriously don't think this is a good idea." Bradley sighed, "You won't know unless you try it." I rolled my eyes and stared at the screen. They had sent me so many messages. Until then, I noticed one girl in particular. Her name is Sarah, she's 23.
