After Tanner's shift, he sought the knight named Adam. He asked his colleagues where the other knight was, and they said that he was at a bar.
With the gold coins in his mind, Tanner wasted no time and headed to the bar. There, he saw Adam, drinking away with six women around him.
Adam was a handsome knight that was popular with the women. There were a lot of women that would surround him because of his looks and his noble upbringing.
"What are you doing?" a man from the bar asked Tanner. "That area is for VIP guests only."
"I am a knight," Tanner showed his plaque to the man who immediately let him inside. "Thank you."
Knights are officials of the royal palace and have the recognition and merits to enter high-class establishments or avail the high-class services. Only nobles were allowed to join the ranks and Tanner was from a humble nobility, so he was qualified.
