Axel was a short man and wore a loose suit. He had dirty blonde hair and pale skin, his freckles decorated his face. He had dark green eyes which were always wet with tears because he was an emotional boy.
That was how Glenn dissected the character of the person who was supposed to defend them in court. His speech pattern was a mess and he frequently stutters. To say that Glenn wasn't nervous was a lie.
He was terrified.
But if there was one thing that was odd, it was the absence of their lord. Each city was ruled by a lord and the lord was the one who has the highest authority there. The throne that was on the terrace was empty. There weren't any high-ranking knights.
"What is happening here?" Glenn asked in his mind.
"So, what are the facts here?" Axel approached them. "What do we have to do?"
"Axel?" Devon called out. "Since we have yet to grace ourselves with the glory of our lord, I am afraid that we have to move our trial this afternoon."
