Axel was chuckling as he watched Devon and Victor slowly lose their composure. The younger man was tearing through their lies one by one.
"My next point is about the bodies. Let's see it," Axel approached the wagon that carried the corpses. Each of them were covered with a white blanket.
Axel pulled the blanket off, stirring a series of scoffs and gasps from the crowd. Either of these reactions would indicate disgust or shock after seeing the corpses.
"I'm not a forensic expert, but I could say that these bodies have been dead for at least a week," Axel said. "There's something going on here, and I'm going to ell everyone what that something is."
The gates opened again and eight people walked inside the coliseum. Devon slammed his hands on his desk. "This is no time to be questioning witnesses. They should've done that earlier."
The crowd protested. They now wanted to know what really happened, so they disagree with Devon's request to stop.
