Four days later
Vincent arrived at the school which Mr.chambers signed him up to attend. The name of the school was midtown high school it was in the opposite direction of the school Jesse attended.
Arriving out side the school he noticed people in different groups talking back and forth while walking into the school building.
Walking into the hallway a scrawny kid was pushed into him and fell to the ground. Vincent looked at the kid then at the guys who did the pushing as they walked away laughing and high fiving each other.
Vincent helped the brown haired boy up from the ground. "Thank you." The kid said once on his feet
" yeah no problem, maybe you could give me some direction, I'm new to the school first day here." Vincent replied
" sure I can it'll be no problem, what's your first class?" The kid asked
Vincent looked at the paper in his hand
" first class science Ms.smith." Vincent said handed the paper to the kid.
Grabbing the paper and reading it , he handed back to Vincent " I'm Jake, Jake Parker." He stated with his hand out
" Vincent Moore but you should've already known my names on the paper." Vincent said shaking Jake's hand.
After being shown around the two split ups Vincent went back to his class. Around lunch time he once again saw Jake being bullied as
A blond haired, blue eyed girl was yelling at them to stop.
Vincent was sitting at a table alone watching everything that was going on.
As two people placed there trays down on his table it's messed up huh, he should really fight back." The girl said as she looked over at what was going o.
" even if he was to fight back they'll just jump him." The guy said as he started eating
" you could help him." another person said
Vincent looked at these three then turned to look around "hope you don't mind us sitting here, I'm cindy, he's hector and that's tommy." The girl introduced them
" Vincent." He said with a slight nod "does that happen often?" Vincent asked
The girl replied as the four of them started talking for awhile.
Vincent stood up and walked over catching the guys hand and pushing him back "you made my meal taste like shit, watching this crap." Vincent said then punched the guy in the face busting his nose and cracking his jaw.
As the guy fell to the ground his friends all yelled " eugene!" They gathered around and picked him up.
Vincent went by Jake and helped him up "next time you do this it'll be an arm." Vincent said as he walked away cindy and hector ran to catch up with Vincent.

They talked and walked back to their classes after exchanging numbers. After school Cindy,Hector, Jake, and Liz met up with Vincent in front of the school. They walked and talked. They mentioned a trip to one of the Luthor Corps lab.
Chambers residence
Vincent walked to the back yard and went into the base where he talked to Jesse about his school and the people he met.
" apparently tomorrow we are heading to one of Luthors lab." When he mentioned this Mr.Chambers was walking in with a folder in hand as he looked at Vincent
"Did you say you were going to one of Luthor's laboratories?" He asked with a serious look on his face
Vincent nodded with a similar look "it's a school trip, I'll be on the lookout about what we talked about before. But I doubt he will be there and I am no superman so he shouldn't really care about me" Vincent replied
" from what you told us you stumbled on to a project and were chased until you made it to bludhaven, we don't have our speed to help you if anything was to happen so be careful." Mr.Chambers stated
Vincent nodded and went to get his suit "wait Vincent I have a new suit for you I know you liked the blue one but I happened to see the design you left out, so I made you an upgraded suit." Mr.chambers said as he wheeled out a new suit on a wire manikan.
Vincent looked at the suit when it was uncovered and couldn't help but give a whistle the color scheme was black, gray and blue the symbol on the chest was white as he walked around it he noticed that the suit incorporated a fox like tail.
"Thank you." Vincent said not knowing anything else to say but he couldn't help thinking what is this suit going to cost him this begin tied down was not the goal.
Noticing the look in his eye Mr.chambers spoke up "It's a late birthday present, you did almost die on your birthday. We made this as thanks for taking over for us while we are unable to go out ourselves, I know . Jesse may not but I can tell this isn't the lifestyle you wanted." Mr.chambers stated.
Jesse just arrived and smiled "so dad's showing you the new suit I picked the colors." She stated as her hand moved from behind her back holding a helmet "I also had this made, instead of a mask I figured a helmet would work best. " she added on then pressed a button and the helmet turned into an earpiece.
Vincent held it in his hand the looked at the two of them and had giant smile on his face.
"I know what you're thinking Vincent but we believe it's worth it the suit has a function to turn into a watch it is already synced with the helmet. These are only to keep you protected it has no other capabilities other than connecting with the comms." Mr.chambers said with a smile as he patted Vincent shoulder.
Vincent smirked " I'm guessing that folder is going to put me in a situation where I can die at almost any turn." Vincent stated
Mr.chambers looked at Vincent directly in the eyes "this folder was sent to me from a contact I have in A.R.G.U.S the person in this folder would kill you without hesitating, but you don't have to fight." Mr.chambers said then looked at Jesse
" I wouldn't give this to him if I didn't think he could handle the situation well." After adding that on he handed the folder to Vincent and left.
Vincent and Jesse talked for a long while then Vincent left he was shocked and for the first time in along time be was speechless.
Once he was in the shed he glanced through the information and realized this would not be easy and it wouldn't be in New York. He had to go back to bludhaven.
His target was for information on blockbuster and nite-wing and the operation that they had going on. When he was Remy he heard about the two but never ran into them. If caught it could be his death he wouldn't be back for a couple of days.
