Chief John Wilson
"God damnit! Auther we need help out here more and more of those fucking freaks appeared ever goddamn day." Chief Wilson yelled into the phone listening to the reply
"No Auther, we tried arresting them with the equipment we got from central city and the shit does not work, they're not metas!"
He exclaimed.
"All I know is that you should speak with Mr.luthor because I am pretty sure this is his fault how in the hell do you expect my guys to take these fuckers in?" Chief Wilson asked only to be told to find a way and that Mr.luthor is to busy to take a meeting anytime soon. The chief slammed the phone down trying to calm himself.
Same time same place
Vincent sat on the roof of the police department listening to the conversation the chief was having.
' well that's just great, I'm told not to kill but it would be for the best we shoot first so to speak.' He thought as he stood up and stretched walking towards the edge and looking over the streets.
'I am annoyed as well chief.' He thought with a sigh and a tsk.
Two days prior
Vincent was on the roof of a building fighting against a person calling themselves the metal guard after winning the fight he was going to head home when the police shouted at him and even shot at him.
That might be usual except the gunfire because most officers appreciated a little help but it was the words and what he was accused of that bothered him.
Instead of going to base he spent the day running from cops and then at night he landed on the roof of a building. To see a person in black and white with a blood red spider symbol on his chest and everything clicked into place.
A fist came at Vincent face he ducked and was going for an uppercut which was dodged kicks and punches Vincent had the upper hand as he finally knocked the person to the ground he was going to see the name.
"I am darkness!" A voice came from the side as the man on the ground used a web to pull away. Vincent danger sense had him disengage as he jumped back to see two people leaving the roof top.
He was going to chase but the door to the roof was kicked open as police ran in
"Freeze!" Yelled Chief Wilson "you are under arrest for the murder of Eugene Thompson." Chief Wilson continued as the guns were cocked and aimed at Vincent
"We got you now you son of a bitch." Chief Wilson added as the police moved closer in
Vincent stood looking around at them "wrong guy chief and I'm already late as is , so see ya next time." Vincent said as he magnetized the guns forcing them to aim at the ground, then Vincent jumped off the roof yelling back "My webs are blue, pay attention and fuck off!"
Present day
Leaving the police's roof Vincent went to meet up with Rush and Troia this was the first meeting the three would have together.
Landing in an alley Vincent used his speed to run towards the meeting spot whe his danger sense went off and he rolled to the left ducking behind a dumpster.
The projectile missed its mark still flying straight Vincent watched it fly pass ' is that a fucking pencil.' This thought passed his mind in a flash as surprise could be seen on his fox mask face.
As he waited for a volley of pencil to come at him he heard a grunt and the sound of a fist fight. Leaving from behind the dumpster he saw what was going on.
A woman in smokey black was fighting against a man, the man was using pencils like knives and the woman was using her fists and feet ducking, dodging and wall flipping. The woman lost her balance and was kicked in the stomach.
Vincent made his move as he shot an electric web at the man hitting him in the chest which caused him to fall to the ground. The woman got to her feet "I had him!" She yelled as her chest moved up and down due to taking deep breaths.
"Sure you did, but it was my fight." Vincent replied causing the woman to look at him
This time Vincent could see her closely she was wearing a tight fitting outfit that was smokey black with red lines that stemmed from the lightning bolt symbol on her chest.
She wore a black mask that covered her mouth and nose and her eyes were brown.
Vincent glanced above her and his eyes widened he knew her. Vincent laughed at the angry eyes he was receiving.
The woman also examined him his outfit base color was black with an accent of smoky blue. The base of the symbol on his chest was black as the dragon was silvery gray seeming to coil yet hold golden and bronze gears.
"well I'll thank you for your timely assist." Vincent stated amusingly
"Are you laughing at me, I could've swore you were hiding behind trash just now." The woman snapped back
Vincent approached he side in a blur and whisper in her ear "don't be like that cindy. " the in a blur while she was confused and scared he vanished
This meeting with cindy made him understand that while there were those who decided to go around killing and stealing that new heroes will also arrive. This was fundamental but it didn't change his plan, and his plan was simple after a long thought out process his plan was to do what he wanted when he wanted.
He already failed in stopping things already but project xray was suppose to be about a super weapon which became clear on how after the gas leak incident. Now was not the time for him to just up and leave since Jesse and Johnathan were still unable to use they're abilities fully.
'How do I fix the speed force?' This was the question that weighed on his mind.
"Vincent the Dark Spider has shown up in queens, no sign of the darkness" Jesse voice came through the coms
"Thanks J.Q. contact those two and let them know I will be late or probably won't be making it anytime tonight" Vincent replied while changing directions
" they've told me that they were in the middle of something to, you know you should've been the one talking to them all the time."Jesse stated
'Why it's not like I want to form a team I don't even want to do this shit now' Vincent inwardly complained "I know J.Q. but you're so much better with words than I" Vincent replied swinging to the roof of a building to get a better view.
Once on top the building he saw Dark Spider wasn't to far away from where he was using his eyes he zoomed in and saw dark spider suffocating a person that didn't shock him but the name did.
Vincent knew dark spider but not for very long but he knew that this person use to be a good kid 'of course he'd snap when he gets powers.' Vincent sighed
Before Vincent could make a move a voice came from behind along with panting
" thought you could get away from me? How in the hell do you know my name!?" Cindy shouted
Vincent shook his head and pointed some distance away "you want to be a hero right?" He questioned as cindy moved closer and looked in the direction he pointed " what am I suppose to be seeing, don't try to change the subject. " she said with anger think that the fox guy was messing with her.
Vincent looked at her ." Squint your fucking eyes if you have to!" He shouted and pointed again " over there, is a person committing murder he's simply known as Dark Spider or D.S. for short while you waste my time here he will kill more people." Vincent stated loudly
Cindy did what she was told and could barely make out what he was saying in her sights
" how in the, how can you see that far?" Shaking her head " right what do we do from here." By the time the words left her mouth she felt a breeze blow her hair as Vincent was gone again.
Instead of getting angry she made her way after him.
Vincent arrived just in time to kick D.S. out the door of the apartment
" we meet again Fox, why must you stand against me!" D.S. shouted full of rage as the two got into a brawl damaging the hallway of the apartment complex .
Vincent kicked D.S. through a door he flew through a wall and landed on a table breaking it.
As a women's screamed and hid.
Vincent lifted D.S. up from the broken table, D.S. lifted his knee full force, Vincent pushed away from D.S. the knee missed its mark but gave D.S. enough time to jump out the window and shot a web.
Vincent followed after D.S. ' this bastard wants to play dirty, we can play dirty.' Vincent thought as he shot e-webs at D.S. while swinging .
Sirens were wailing as the two battle throughout the air finally landing on a roof top.
D.S. turned as quickly as possible and shot a web. Vincent was in the air as he saw a web coming towards him and shot his own . The webs tangled together, as Vincent was pulled towards D.S. once close enough Vincent wrapped his fist in electricity and swung.
D.S. kicked as soon as Vincent was close enough receiving an electric fist to the face he fell back off the building.
Vincent felt major pain his fist collided but a foot with full force went straight into his balls, his hands instantly went to his groin as his knees touched the ground of the roof.
" are you ok!?" Cindy out of breath voice came from behind Vincent as a hand touched his shoulder. She looked at him and his position and instantly knew what happened "Dark Spider, is definitely dangerous." She said seriously as she knew Vincent was in a world of pain she felt sorry for the fox guy whose probably lost the ability of his lower end.
Vincent looked at her and with a cough" I'm fine, just thought my suit could block the attack." He wheezed out ' damn you Mr.chambers you said full protection.' This went through Vincent mind as he was slowly getting up " check to see if he's down there." Vincent stated while standing in an awkward position.
Cindy glanced at him then nodded her face was a little red at the moment but she looked to where D.S. fell to and there was no one she shook her head. As she turned around to talk with the fox.
" next time imma break his bones , you caught up not bad for a rookie hero , I'll call you silk on the account of your webs are more like silk than mine and Dark-Spider."
Vincent said patting himself " I'm going home now, when we meet again we can talk, but for now." He pointed down at himself " I need rest to recuperate "
With that said Vincent left silk on the roof as he went to the base avoiding police.
