Charis was very possibly losing her mind, it was becoming too overwhelming and she was about to combust. Every night before she went to bed she would just grab her pillow and scream into it. Sebastian had her doing everything from grabbing coffee to walking his dog, just kidding he didn't have dogs, his soul was too black she would say to herself but if he did he would definitely be making her walk it.
Plus she kept having these catfights with Prisca, to rephrase that Prisca kept having these catfights with her, she hated it. But every time she wanted to say something, talk about and stand her ground her chest would constrict so bad and she would be there just trying and panting for air. This is why she just didn't do most of the time but she was getting really frustrated and that discomfort seemed a lot meager to how badly she had been feeling.
She walked into Sebastian's office with a tray holding a kettle two teacups and some bags he had a guest today and she honestly did not expect who she saw. Sebastian's friend from that night, Tim. He looked towards her the moment she walked in and she staggered, in an instant he was up on his feet holding her steady. "Are you okay?"
Charis' eyes were big and full of shock, still, in his arms, she looked into his eyes, in contrast to Sebastian's his were brown. But a lighter shade than her dark ones, and she could see the curiosity, how he seemed to figure her out.
"What are you two doing?" Sebastian's cold voice cut through the moment and Tim steadied her and walked back to his seat.
"Do I know you?" He asked and Charis' brows rose, she looked between Sebastian and his friend. Sebastian's face remained passive, he just kept looking at her.
"Uh..." she stuttered, unsure what to do or what to say. She didn't know anything to-
"I do know you, I have met you before but I just cannot seem to place the face?" he said. "Looking at Sebastian, she really looks familiar?" Tim insisted.
"Well, she says she doesn't know you right Miss Sweeney?" Sebastian said plainly "you may go."
Charis did not waste any time dashing out of the room without a second thought she dashed out of the room with her hand on her chest.
"What was that?" Tim asked, "you let her go? I thought you wanted to fluster her, besides you are the one that refused to admit that you remember her."
"Well she didn't either," he said, "that would have been okay, she might have lost my card and not had a way to reach me then I hear her saying she threw it away and how that was such a good decision too." He frowned, "what were the words? 'Just some random guy that wanted nothing but to get in my panties and I am happy I tossed his card into the trash' That is what she said" Ti's lips parted then began to stretch into a smile.
"My goodness, she said that?"
"That is not all, she also said she kissed me but did not like it, me. She did not like that kiss... wow, I feel so offended." He huffed.
"Why did you even pretend not to know her in the first place?" Tim asked.
"Just because, she is very entertaining to tease, I mean look at how easily she is flustered."
"So now what? You are torturing her because she doesn't like your kiss?" he asked his friend.
"You know how I am about my pride, she can't be going around telling people I kiss badly" he shrugged.
"So you are not interested anymore?"
Sebastian looked into the distance, he couldn't deny the desire that flooded his entire being when he was around that woman, he craved her more than anything or anyone he had in this world and that was saying something. He couldn't deny the lust but he would make sure it was nothing but that, lust. "I guess she was right, I do just want to get into her panties. Just sleep with her and get it over with, but anything else? No, I won't be a prince charming and I certainly do not expect to be a gentle man either."
