Abel couldn't help but go through the words that Lydia has told him and ask himself if Mr. McCray will insist that he go along with him but something told him that he won't be needed so he turn to Lydia since she knew where they would be performing the ritual.
"do you mind telling me where they would be gathering tonight for the ritual"?
"Why are you asking, do you plan to go too" ask Lydia as she gazes at him.
"Not at all, I just wanted to know" reply Abel with an awkward laugh.
Hearing his reply and his funny laughter, Lydia focus her gaze on him as she already had her suspension that he planned to go there too.
"Just to let you know, I also plan on going there too since I'm already involved in it, and let's not forget the fact that I promise Isabel that I am going to help her out" said Lydia eventually.
"So we are going there together right" asked Abel.
"that's right and we are leaving before the appropriate time for the ritual" replied Lydia.
"eh. No offense here but I don't think it is a good idea that you tag along, it could be really dangerous in there and there is no way I will be able to protect you since I will have to watch out for myself" said Abel.
"You couldn't even beat me in a fight so what makes you think I won't be able to protect myself. Look, if you don't want me to go along with You, then you can forget about knowing about the location of the ritual" replied Lydia with a frown.
"Okay, you can come along. So where are we meeting up" asked Abel after giving in to her condition?
"that shouldn't be a problem, all you have to do is give me your number and I will notify you when my parents have already gone out with Mr. McCray" reply Lydia before taking her phone out and passing it to Abel to input his number.
After dialing his number on her cell phone, they both went to meet up with Perry who has been waiting for them, and seeing them coming out of the hall together, he couldn't help but wink at Abel who just shook his head as he walk up to him.
"I'm going to wipe that smirk off your face soon enough" Abel muttered when he was close by.
"what took you guys so long to get out, do you have any idea how long I have been waiting for you" asked Perry.
"We were discussing an important matter, I'm sorry for keeping you waiting" replied Abel.
"it's nothing man, so can we leave now, or is there someone that you are waiting for" ask Perry when seeing. Them still standing.
And that is how they left the school premises until they got to town where Abel had to path way with them.
'bro I thought you said she leave next to you, then why the hell is she heading my way' thought Perry as he glare at Abel who also notice looks and only reply with a smile before leaving.
After making the announcement that he would be very busy, Mr. McCray left the school as he went to the tower to take whatever he would need during their confrontation with the dark witch association and it was also the same thing with Mr. Davis who informed his wife about the ritual before opening a briefcase that was loaded with equipment for hunting.
While Mr. Davis was getting prepared, Lydia happen to walk in, and could not help but just stare at her father. Ever since they have been living together before coming to Warlington, she had never seen him this side of him.
"Welcome back from school sweet" greeted his father with a smile before putting the briefcase.
"thanks father, what are you planning to do with all of those" ask Lydia
"I believe Mr. McCray must have told you everything, so my dear I'm making preparation for the hunt" reply Mr. Davis with a smile.
"good luck then" she said before heading to her room.
Meanwhile, after arriving home, Abel informed his mother that he won't be coming home and that he is going to Perry's place for a sleepover which she agreed with. Making sure that he is full of energy before leaving, Abel decided to go hunt for food before it was time to head out.
Around 9:30 PM, Abel received a call from an unknown number but he already knew who it was and answer the call.
"my parents are already out to meet up with Mr. McCray. Go wait for me in town" Lydia's voice came from the other side of the phone.
"I'm on my way" reply Abel before heading out.
Getting to town didn't take him much time due to his speed but on getting there, he could see Lydia was already waiting for his arrival which surprise him since he had just hung up the call before rushing there so how did she do it.
"I have been here when I called you" said Lydia like she knew what was on his mind.
"So where are we going from here asked Abel.
"Just follow me" reply Lydia before walking away and seeing that she is not willing to tell him where the location is, he decided to quietly follow behind her.
But after walking for some time, he begins to notice that the path they are going leads out of the town where an old building could be seen which happened to be the building where they fought with the Arachne.
'Don't tell me that they are thinking of performing the ceremony in that building, come to think of it, that place has been deserted for a long time which makes it the best place for secrecy' thought Abel as he continue to follow Lydia.
After getting close to the building, Lydia decided they look for a place to hide and wait.
